Glitter, shouting, tackled protesters: #Occupy criminal movement hits Santorum in Central Florida.
The Orlando Sentinel reported:

Occupy movement protesters slipped into an American Legion Hall here and bombed Rick Santorum with glitter Monday afternoon, leading to a brief ruckus as security guards and sheriff’s deputies wrestled two men to the ground and then carried them out.

For a moment the scene was chaos, with shouting and shoving in the crowded assembly room as Santorum stood on stage in silence while glitter floated through the air over several people and on to him. There were about 400 people gathered for his speech, sponsored by the Tri-County Tea Party of The Villages.

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office later said the men were from the Occupy Tampa movement, but did not identify them by name.

As they were being carried out and off the American Legion property, one of the men shouted “Rick’s a homophobe,” presumably a reference to Santorum’s staunch opposition to gay rights.

The sheriff’s office said the two men were escorted off the property and issued trespass warnings – banning them from ever returning, but were not arrested, according to Orlando Sentinel reporter Eloisa Gonzalez.

They would teach protesters how to curl up so that your vital organ’s wouldn’t be damaged by police kicking them in the stomach and head.     I feel very, very sorry for the security personnel. They have about half a second to try and determine if the lunatic is a dangerous nut job or a foolish nut job, and that is a fine line indeed. Is that glitter he has, is it a hand grenade, is it an envelope full of anthrax? They have to determine all this before it is thrown. Because once it is thrown it is far too late. I honestly don’t know how a few of these idiots haven’t gotten shot over these silly games.
