Big Spender Barack Asks Congress For ANOTHER $1.2 Trillion

Obama did it. He asked Congress for another $1.2 trillion today.

Flashback: Obama called Bush “unpatriotic” for raising the debt limit by $4 trillion during his eight years.
It took Obama 3 years.

And now he wants another $1.2 trillion.

The Washington Post reported:

President Barack Obama is asking Congress for another $1.2 trillion increase in the nation’s debt limit.

The request is largely a formality. It’s the third and final request the president is allowed under a deal the White House and lawmakers reached in August to prevent a government default.

But Republicans are likely to use the election-year request as an opportunity to criticize the president’s spending policies.

Congress has 15 days to reject the president’s request. The White House says Obama would veto any objections in order to avoid a default.

Obama originally planned to make this request in late December. But with Congress on vacation until mid-January, lawmakers asked Obama to delay his request so they could vote on the matter when they return.

We know. It must be Bush’s fault.

So, he has run through $3trillion in debt increase since August . . . that is just about 3 months per increase. What is he going to do come April, now that he’s using up his last trip to the well?

No sweat. Ben will print whatever we need. Why are you all so worried?

Tim Geithner. He is the only one who can save us. No time to talk about it, just put Tim Geithner in charge. Voila!! Problem solved.

*Sigh* I remember when a debt spending of several million was cause for great voter anger and enough to change the party in charge in Congress.

We should just rename the capitol to Weimar D.C. and have done with it. Our “betters” in charge sure don’t care about the future.

Of course Barry needs another $1.2T. Can’t buy as many voters, or pay off enough cronies, with a mere trillion as you could in 2008.

We came NOT to praise Caesar, but to see him receive his Great Harvest – his Great Reward. We came to see it land on him squarely.

We came to see him be swallowed up and overwhelmed by his Harvest landing squarely on his head.

    No, no, and NO.

    Enough already.

And McConnell and Boehner better not try to strike another deal. No more of those as well.

  • Tim Geithner

Hey Everybody!!! Just got here. Let’s get this party started.

I like the picture. The grey hair suits him well. Kinda makes him look as if he gives a crap about the condition of the nation, rather than his re-annoiting. NOT!

Thank goodness the Great Odogma gave me that extra $40 a week for xmas. I can put it towards the $12,000 that will be my family’s share of this 1.2 Trillion. FOUR MORE YEARS!………….to bankruptcy.

ANY (so-called) republican who votes for this should be voted out. That, in lieu of the more appropriate “tar & feathers” approach.

Hey, ‘Alice in Wonderland’ Hollween Parties, separate trips to Hawai’i, Paris, where ever, and those darn Greens Fees take money dochaknow!

  • Mark1957

He’s going to get the money anyway, so make the little prick get down on his knees and beg for it before you give it to him.

  • Hobbitually conservative

He only needs ten percent of it for his reelection, give the guy a break.

Do not leave Boehner and the rest of the house leadership off the hook on this.
Not one dime gets spent that the house doesn’t approve.
Barry’s a marxist no doubt; we should expect much more from a republican-controlled house.

If the limp-wristed GOP Congress caves again on this one, I will NEVER give another dime to the RNC again in my entire lifetime. Are you listing RNC? We are done be your saps.

  • Sasja

I want to see an itemized list of expenditures with an explanation for each, why this money is needed. Then I want Congress to give him a resounding NO! It is time for Congress to stop enabling him.
