Raw sewer: An unidentified man seen defecates on a NYPD patrol car in downtown Manhattan (Daily Mail)

- 7 deaths, 5 found dead in tents, One found dead after 2 days
- Millions of dollars in damages, layoffs, vandalism, law breaking
- Rape
- Sexual Abuse

The New York Times today bashed Ronald Reagan and cheered a “new progressive movement” brought about by the Occupy Wall Street lawbreakers.

OCCUPY WALL STREET and its allied movements around the country are more than a walk in the park. They are most likely the start of a new era in America. Historians have noted that American politics moves in long swings. We are at the end of the 30-year Reagan era, a period that has culminated in soaring income for the top 1 percent and crushing unemployment or income stagnation for much of the rest. The overarching challenge of the coming years is to restore prosperity and power for the 99 percent.

Thirty years ago, a newly elected Ronald Reagan made a fateful judgment: “Government is not the solution to our problem. Government is the problem.” Taxes for the rich were slashed, as were outlays on public services and investments as a share of national income. Only the military and a few big transfer programs like Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid and veterans’ benefits were exempted from the squeeze.

Reagan’s was a fateful misdiagnosis. He completely overlooked the real issue — the rise of global competition in the information age — and fought a bogeyman, the government. Decades on, America pays the price of that misdiagnosis, with a nation singularly unprepared to face the global economic, energy and environmental challenges of our time.

Washington still channels Reaganomics. The federal budget for nonsecurity discretionary outlays — categories like highways and rail, education, job training, research and development, the judiciary, NASA, environmental protection, energy, the I.R.S. and more — was cut from more than 5 percent of gross domestic product at the end of the 1970s to around half of that today. With the budget caps enacted in the August agreement, domestic discretionary spending would decline to less than 2 percent of G.D.P. by the end of the decade, according to the White House. Government would die by fiscal asphyxiation.

What lunacy.
Have these people even noticed the complete destruction of the Obama years?
Outrageous.

We are at the end of the 30-year Reagan era, a period that gave us the tech boom , and employment and careers for people from all over the world, including illegals.

  2. Let’s take the Times up on their advocacy.

Looting of the Pinch family wealth and all the other 1% in the Times organization begins Monday. I’m more than happy to answer the call and determine when the organization will be handing over stock, cash and property to the rest of us 99%.

Hollywood actress Piper Laurie, 79, says in a new memoir “Learning To Live Out Loud” that she lost her virginity to Ronald Reagan when, at age 18, she played his 16-year-old daughter in the 1950 movie “Louisa.”
    Um … eww.
According to the Daily Mail in London, she wrote that Reagan — who was 21 years her senior — was dating his future second wife Nancy Davis at the time. Prior to her uh, passing the audition, he allegedly wined and dined Laurie at his home.
Laurie write that he talked about his performance afterward, in particular how long it had lasted. He was “ardent” for 40 minutes, he reminded her. And he mentioned the price of the condom he used.
Were those expensive or something back then? Was it custom made with a campaign slogans?

The commies are giddy with excitement !
I wonder if Obama will now pretend to be like Reagan anymore :P

  4. If we are going to tear down the establishment, we must start with the The New York Times.

  5. It is an opinion piece nimrods. Not even from their editorial board.

  8. #5: Wow! Shocking discovery you made there. And opinion piece? I am astounded. [insert rolling eyes here]

The author of that pile of crap article is the director of a Greenie group at Columbia. Left-wing crackpot, cheering the destruction of our economy.

  10. Can’t Pinch afford a toilet?

  11. The Reagan era is dead. So who is cheering Obama?

  12. Pay attention to the propaganda, what it argues, who it tries to destroy and who it tries to foster.

The NYT is but one voice in the full chorus of the new progressivism. This movement is unleashed upon the entire Country now, and there are more supporters than were ever thought to exist.

However, through their own perceived “moment of truth,” they have necessarily exposed themselves – every last one of them. In all public and private venues, they are easily recognized for who and what they represent. The current Administration is nothing but a conduit for them.

The burning question is: What do WE do to save Our Country from a forced collapse into the Socialism of the “new progressives” that started nearly 100 hundred years ago?

    It’s going to be tough.

  13. Let’s first admit that all local and nationl newspapers spout nothing but Obamaville crap. That’s why they’re trying so hard to get control of the internet now. Second, don’t give up, speak up. Germany ended up with Hitler because so many thought things had become so very bad that anything would be better….they were wrong. Most of those living in Obamavile don’t even know what it’s all about.

  14. The Alinsky Media lives in make-believe land. They create things, make them up, and believe they’re real, this is how they see the world, through their make-believe eyes.

They will say anything to try and convince others that their make-believe world really exist.

The above article from the New York Times is proof of the make-believe world the Alinsky Media lives in.

Void of reality, and void of ideas.

  15. “A new generation of leaders is just getting started. The new progressive age has begun. ”

Sorry, but there are no leaders in this entire OWS fiasco.

Now, if your looking for drugs, a chance to get raped, and/or killed, they have accomidations ready for you!

  16. Freddy, they voted a dog for their leader.

  17. Freddy commented:
Sorry, but there are no leaders in this entire OWS fiasco.
    ++++
DenverPee-pull have elected a dog as their leader :D
Maybe Poopstinkers all over will adopt that dog as their leader too

  18. Hope the guy wiped himself off with a page from the NYT. It would have improved the value of the paper.

  19. Amazing. 30 years ago, Ronald Reagan noted that government IS the problem precisely because Jimmy Carter had just completed the most economic destruction of a single president prior to THIS ONE; and not only did they forget- but they completely miss the obvious comparison between Carter and Obama and ignore the pertinent question: which Republican is best qualified to fix the mess this time? And: how in the heck were we stupid enough to do this to ourselves again?

  20. Excuse me but wasn’t it New York that screwed the rest of the country? Why should anyone care what comes out of that Progressive sewer? I want a President who will do to New York what New York has done to America except longer, harder, deeper and more often.

  21. The New York Times has been dropping deuces in newsstands for years, so their support for ows is not surprising.

  22. It used to be “All the news that’s fit to print.” Now it’s “All the newspeak that fits our liberal/ progressive ideology we print.” Fact is the 2012 elections will be WON by conservatives and the NY Times as well as the lying left media will be eviscerated by Breitbart, Limbaugh and millions of conservative and Tea Party patriots.

  23. This is an extension of the communist movement in America. I call it Russia’s Revenge – against Reagan for his successful, active role in bringing down the USSR.

Remember: Putin was a KGB operative. Hillary, an acolyte to her mentor, Alinsky, presented him with an intentionally ridiculous “Reset” button and received an award for her open support of Progressive Movement eugenicist, racist, proponent of genocide and founder of Planned Parenthood, Margaret Sanger. Comrade Barry was an active member of Chicago’s communist New Party and “taught” Alinsky ideology to young minds full of mush in Chicago as a community agitator. Panetta has long been an active communist, created a swath of destruction through the CIA and now the Pentagon. The regime’s aptly named “czars” are a bunch of assorted communists, Marxists, Maoists and other fellow travelers.

  24. But he’s right folks.

This *IS* the new face of “progressives” in America.

We used to call them anarchists, socialists, fascists. Now they’re “progressives”. They’re in every city in America, scaring the people, demanding a free ride, demanding your tax dollars support them while they produce nothing for society.

So when the time comes to stop them, what will you and your family do? Here’s a hint: Obamee’s army of thugs and his re-election campaign are one and the same.

  25. The scary thing to consider is that this really does appear to be nothing more than a dry run, no goals, no real complaints, no direction at all, just a “can we cause riots on a national level” exercise to determine the weak points of the plan. They are refining the logistics, both at a street level and at a national level required to make this event happen for the elections 2012. Throw cannon fodder out there and see what they are defeated by. Will it be weather, will it be disease, will it be food supply logistics, will it be lack of spirit, will it be attacks from their opponents. What words and stories does the public respond well to, what turns them off. What is the news saturation levels. This is the liberal’s favorite game of all, a “social experiment”. And if a few cities burn and a people die, well that is just emergency federal spending for their favorite cities and the people are just meat for the grinder and a fresh batch of bloody shirts to wave. Alas the fate of the useful idiot.

  26. THE PUPPY POOP SCOOP (With regards to the Beach boys Little Duce Coop)

Now I’m speaking off the record here so don’t write this down.
But Gotham’s got the baddest paper here and around.
The story’s are all written with a wink and a leer.
If its vital or important babe you won’t find it here.
It’s a puppy poop scoop, what a pile of rot.

The front page is nonsense and the back page is sad.
The op-eds are insipid and the sports page is bad.
News ain’t entertainment entertainment ain’t news.
I just don’t care what kind of fats Michelle Obama eschews.
Its the puppy poop scoop what a pile of rot.

Its got a lot of propaganda on the editors page.
They love to hate conservatives they rant and they rage.
You could read the news worth reading in a New York minute.
No self respecting fish would want to be wrapped in it.

Its got a nifty crossword puzzle intellectuals adore,
Amusing if that’s what you buy a newspaper for.
But I,m really feeling down today, I got the blues.
I spent a bundle on the paper and I can’t find the news.
But it’s the puppy poop scoop. What a pile of rot.
    What a pile of rot.
    What a pile of rot.

  27. #26 Damn good comment, Blackbird.

This is the liberal’s favorite game of all, a “social experiment”. And if a few cities burn and a [few] people die, well that is just emergency federal spending for their favorite cities and the people are just meat for the grinder and a fresh batch of bloody shirts to wave. Alas the fate of the useful idiot.

    Perfectly stated.

  28. China’s Great Leap Forward.

Now that was a social experiment.

1958-1961, 40 million of China’s people intentionally murdered by educators, their students, the cultural elites, and the State.

    SOUND FAMILIAR?

Our educators, their students, the cultural elites, and the State all masturbate when reading about the Great Leap Forward. They also wish to be those who Kill, Steal, and Destroy. Like their Father.

  29. You got it right Taqiyyotomist, I did intend the word [few] to go right there. I need to keep those proofreading skills sharpened better.

  30. I have been waiting for a few years now for someone like Chu or Valerie Jarrett to throw out the trial balloon for the idea that we can’t compete industrially so we need to set up collective farming to become the world’s breadbasket. You know even with all the demonstrable proof to the contrary at least a few of Obama’s buddies are sure they can make it work if we just throw enough bodies at it. Unlike Stalin, Mao, Pot Pol, Kim Jong-il and pretty much all the other Marxists. I figure it will start with news stories about how great life is on the modern communes.

  31. @ #26 & #27 –> 2 of the best comments I’ve read in a while.
Back to back and for entirely different reasons.

    Keep up the good work!

  32. Its just Krugman writing under a cover name.

  33. Get ready NY Times! OWS is getting ready to poop and pee on your door step! NY Times IS THE 1% that they hate!

  34. Where does GOVERNMENT get it’s money from LIBTARDS????

  35. “New Progressive Movement”

    Same as the old Movement..

How is this National ‘Movement’ pushing Socialism different from past national Marxist movements?

  36. H O F T… must be in love with this guys rear end as he has posted it many, many times..

  37. “We are at the end of the 30-year Reagan era….”

Nah, we are at the peak of big gov’t Socialism, which we will defeat.

The Progressive dementia producing their space-occupying Fantasyland which is their brain, has now “progressed” to involve every fallacy of formal and informal logic, a denial of fact and science, and probably every significant psychoderangement possible, now verging into the gross de-realization characterizing psychoses.

All wrapped into a “perception is reality” primal muck of simple unhinged, incoherent verbiage.

Good luck with that, Progressives. Just how are you going to “succeed” if you can make no sense?

If you are trying to prove that you are the “Garden’s” Missing Link it’s a fail. The Missing Link would not have been that stupid, would not have been a link, and all you have proven is that you have a bunch of missing links.

  38. Back to the gutter or the sewer, your choice, aticcellar. Or are you currently “occupying” the street slime to await your new fate, same as the old one? Road kill.

  39. I agree with TAQ. I usually do. Great comment #26. Perfect.

  40. One or two graduations ago, “Pinch” Schulzberger apologized to the class for his people not bringing about the Communist Utopia. But the fact that he had presided over his own News Paper’s progressive failure did not seem to deter his belief that his Progressive “values” should have been successful in the rest of the real world, just like in the E.U..

Commies: corrupt, incompetent, stupid, and so always setting traps which they eventually fall into, both personally and, er, “professionally”. Trying to take us all down with them seems to be a necessary feature of their specially abled form of “saving the world”.

  41. November Matt commented:

It is an opinion piece nimrods. Not even from their editorial board.

Right, just like Amadinejad is not a spokesman for the Mullahs, who are you know, “reasonable”. And just how’s that working out for us, Narcissis, with the great dhimmi facilitator in chief at the helm and also given his independently superior skills of “perception is reality for me and you” diplomaceh ?

Btw, Nimrod was a “Mighty Warrior”.

  42. Is the Times seriously trying to tell us the government is starved for ‘monetary oxygen’? And, I guess, we are supposed to actually believe that government is only spending 2% of GDP, the reality is closer to 30%. If our deficit alone is around 1.4 trillion dollars a year, the amount we come up short after spending, then fine, let’s just use that figure. That would assume that only 2% of our GDP equals 1.4 trillion dollars. So what’s our GDP? 98 X 700billion, at least. I guess we are more prosperous than we feel.

  43. We are in the midst of the first ever GLOBAL protest against corporate greed and their molestation of our government. People around the world are standing together to raise their voice against the oppression of the 1% and their corporate welfare and lobbying which are eroding our economy and country from the inside out. See my artwork for the movement as well as resources and videos of the protests at http://dregstudiosart.blogspot.com/2011/09/occupywallstreet.html Get informed and get involved… all you have to do is raise your voice for change!
