Occupy Wall Street Website: “Stop Listing Demands” We Look Like Complete Imbeciles

Stop Listing Demands! We look like we’re freaking nuts.

The Occupy Wall Street lunatics scolded fellow commie activists today for posting their legitimate demands. It makes them look stupid.

The opponents of this movement are using the demands posted in this forum as the official lists. And some of these lists regardless of how right or wrong are extreme points of view and will only hurt our cause by making us look like extremist nut jobs. You don’t speak for everyone in this. Stop creating public demand lists, delete demands threads. Let the organizers and the law team working for them do this.

so thanks a lot, now this is how the opponents are viewing us http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2011/10/good-lord-the-occupy-wall-street-imbeciles-release-their-idiotic-demands-20-minimum-wage-and-across-the-board-debt-forgiveness-for-all/

It’s probably a good thing they posted this.
They certainly wouldn’t want to look stupid or foolish.

“The Occupy Wall Street lunatics scolded fellow commie activists today for posting their legitimate demands. It makes them look stupid.”

Funny how none of them told their supporters to stop being violent – not after they attacked Kenneth Gladney, not after that guy (who never pursued by anyone, though he was clearly on video) bit the Town Haller’s finger off, not after the union goons were being bused to individuals’ homes to terrorize their families …

I guess we know where they’re hoping to redirect this lefty angst and weapons-grade stupidity.

I hope that these aren’t College graduates. But some maybe, yet, fortunately some students with intelligence won’t conform to this outrageous activity. They are wasting their futures but it is their right to protest.

I understand the youth being so upset with Government but Government over spending and greed created the problem. I hope that all will read the Constitution of the United States.

The over reaching of Government will never solve the problems we ALL face. I feel the pain of the youth, today. But there are many ways to get Government off your back.

One is Vote, to is research those in your communities, go to meetings, purpose your ideas there first. Don’t overreach because that will never get anything done. Your opinions do matter to politicians. You are the future but you need to start at the bottom first and work your way up. But you can never change anything unless your demands are in step with our democracy.

Whether the above are your reasons for protesting, some of these things are good. But our nation cannot afford others. Not in this economy.

  • Finncrisp

These refugees from reality need a wide bearth. They are clearly being used by the “brains behind the protests” and are merely a silly face for a really twisted group of organizers.

The higher purpose is the destruction of America, make no mistake.

  • progressoverpeace

Even given the laughable “demands” of these retards, I still don’t think they look even half as stupiud as the Indonesian Imbecile, with his “profit and earnings ratios”, “reduce your premiums by 3000%” and the rest of his 82-IQ nuggets – many of which were uttered in Austrian …

  • Patty

And at least half of the protestors have no idea who Jones or Soros are.

  • That’s hysterical. Funny how you can ask any random TEA Party patriot what they stand for, and they actually know. This gaggle of misfits and useful idiots need their dear leaders and lawyers to tell them what they think and want? Of course. Makes sense, typical mindless sheep being herded. What morons.

  • KornKing

Looks like a duck, Walks like a duck, Quacks like a duck……

  • Andrew X

Ha ha, that’s all pretty funny. But it really does point out how much of a bind these people have gotten themselves into. Either they have “demands”…. or they DON’T! If they don’t, then what the hell are they really trying to achieve? And if they do, what and where are they? (Oh, our lawyers are still working on that, two weeks into the “occupation”.)

Then, of course, the great Jonah Goldberg pointed out that they really really really wanted an “Arab Spring” in Manhattan. But…. oops…. they started it in October. Didn’t quite think that one through. Should be interesting down there in about six weeks or so. Now they need supplies…. but they don’t want to buy them from the capitalist system. They prefer donations of supplies to be given to them by supporters…. who will have bought those supplies from the capitalist system. D’oh! They debate if they should buy or accept sleeping bags, when they are “capitalist produced”, or make their own bedding… with needles, thread, cloth, and other components… made from the capitalist system. D’oh, again!

At least we see their leaders themselves acknowledging that they’ve got a real Star Wars cantina scene developing down there.

(BTW, one repeated sign I see is plaintive describing of student loans these demonstrators are stuck with. This reality in fact breaks my heart, because a great many of them are well and truly screwed by such debts, incurred by institutions who have jacked up their tuitions sky high in response to….. floods of federal money, to endless demands for idiot “diversity” crap, to spineless administrators caving into to every juvenile whim that comes down the pike, and to administration staffs that have increased 200% in 30 years specifically because of all of the above….. while the schools consuming this product put out an ever more worthless product of “gender studies” majors, “communications” majors (I am one, BTW), and “social justice” militants, who are worth exactly jack squat in the market economy, but who are damn sure they are worth far more than any peasant farmer or construction worker. Truly the catastrophe that is our current education system , K through 16 (17? 18?) is playing out on the streets of Manhattan.)

  • Rachelle

Do these extremist idiots think that changing their comments section is going to make them look any less than a bunch of extremist idiots?

I suppose the ‘optics’ of their gatherings look good from the upper floors of the NYT, but to the rest of the country they look like complete, pampered little asses.

If they really, truly want to have a Tahir Square–Arab Spring–type movement they need to start shooting each other and holding beheadings.

Don’t think for a moment that some of them wouldn’t like to do just that.

someone should contrast the way the reporters on CNN interview these people and how they interview the tea party. none of the belligerence shown the tea party , very sympathetic to these people. i can’t believe but CNN is politically biased.

    @Andrew X:

Point taken but I feel absolutely no empathy for useful idiots who bought into an over priced worthless liberal arts education. They would’ve done better attending a trade school or community college for an AD in nursing or some other marketable entry level skill. They ought to be protesting at their alma maters.

  • Patty

They are trying desperately to eliminate the Tea Party and Jones must be calling Obama. They are laughing. They are eating this up. BTW, where is the Tea Party.?

  • texas

  • Joe Bean

Idiots are idiots. Commies are commies. However not everyone is a commie or an idiot who believes in some of the Occupy ideas. I don’t endorse any of that Leninist or Marxist crap. I can tell you that there is definitely something wrong with the banking system in the United States. The Federal Reserve is shoring up bad bank debt. That might be the root cause for our prolonged recession, whether the protestors are aware of it or not. If you take that into account, you have to give people credit for protesting something legitemate because that is how to affect change. The biggest issue I see is that conservatives have not siezed onto some of this to find common ground. That might be a long term mistake because the smaller factions of Occupy might use the movement to springboard their Marxist ideas. If you ask me, conservatives should be considering if there are some truths behind the protests beyond Marxism and taking proper action. So far the mainstream media and right wing bloggers have labeled them all commies. You might be wishing you did something different after some time passes.

  • these are the same sub-prime mortgage advocates that caused the financial collapse in the first place. if they had a shred of honesty in their bones they would be on wall street apologizing to the 99% of america they claim to represent.

Kindergartners, because their intelligengence has not yet been sullied by the public indoctrination camps, have vastly more common sense and understanding of fundamental economic principles than these unwashed, abject miscreants.

What I liked about the post from Der Master to his unwashed serfs was the instruction to STFU and stop revealing how stupid you tools are because we (der masters) and the lawyers are running the show. In other words, “You’re blowing it for us by letting on that, as everyone knows, you’re a pack of morons!! STFU!!”

But isn’t that what all lawyers do? The first thing they tell their clients is to STFU, LMAO! Of course, these morons aren’t really the clients. Oscumbag is the client, via Trumka, Van Jones, etc..

  • Andrew X

Uncivil & right – to repeat back, point taken. But the fact is that young people depend upon the elders to re-direct their misguided ideas, and that is how it works in successful civilization. These young people did indeed buy into a bill of goods, but words cannot express my contempt for those, allegedly older and wiser, who should have known better, and who caved into their whims at every turn, and who continue to do so. Such people are ideological heroin dealers, and the bloody coin they receive in turn is the delightful frission of “revolution” and “fighting for the oppressed”, etc, even though what they advocate results in the wrecked lives of these very young people themselves. Young people who will keep buying their heroin, for the same reasons that it is being sold, and with the same results to the body politic that real heroin has on the human body.

They are addicted to these misguided ideals, and we all know that many would rather literally die than give up their addictions and the transient warm glow they get from it.

That is the world we are given. All we can do is fight…… and fight…. and fight….. and make sure our great great great grandchildren are taught to fight the same fight…. forever.

Why this is they way of the world is far above my pay grade.

  • [email protected]

These are indeed the same people, if not in person but certainly in political philosophy, who started this entire crisis we are in. It was their demand that banks loan to lowlifes that brought down the housing industry and the same people demanding “green” energy because of “global warming” and the same people demanding the highest wages in the “Worker’s World” that have crippled this country.

    The Irony: …..

We Demand that you STOP posting Demands
    We really mean it.
I know …. We agreed that all weapons get turned over to the Government (who is using the force of law to arrest us), so we have no real means to enforce this DEMAND (see Demand#14)
    But we still Demand it

BTW, we demand more Cheetos and Free Popcorn. These pre-made signs are getting heavy.

#12…..I have always considered this to be Obama’s crew. Unions joining them, etc.

Always thought they would shut it down if it looked like Obama would get beat. Don’t think we have seen anything yet. Yes, I’m serious. I think I can not even imagine what is going to happen close in to the 2012 election.

They seem to be so offended if anyone uses Hitler in connection to The Won. I say this is one of the many methods he used. Remember the kids marching. Wanting to start citizen army. Let get real here. This has nothing to do with the poor useful idiots. With folks like Congressional Democrats calling for an “American Autumn,” then Van Jones and the unions coming on board, these folks don’t really care about “Sticking It To The Man,” when they are “The Man” ? Hell no.

Dozens of Obama 2008 Wall Street donors now support Romney
Cold $houlder for O, Snubbed by biz titans on Apple fund-raising visit

This is all about simple extortion. Now they can’t have these Democrats (or Republicans) on Wall Street going of the reservation.

“Nice Wall Street you have here. It would be a shame if something were to happen to it.”

  • If I recognized one of these misguided, indoctrinated idiots as one of my own, they would be forced to pay their own tuition and find another place to live.

Is it any wonder that Obami’s poll numbers keep tanking further down every day? His “civilian force” is showing the public on a daily basis just how pathetic and out-of-touch they are. I hope they are encouraged to continue because it will only show everyone just what Bami & his leftist nutcases represent.

I, too, am reminded of the little kiddies whose lemonade stands got squashed by beaureaucrats this past summer.

Those little Americans took their summer vacations and worked to make a profit, and were shut down coast to coast by SEIU government types.

Too bad these kids didn’t list some demands:

Freedom from a debt-burdened future, freedom to pursue free enterprise on their driveways, freedom from miles of red tape called government at every level, and freedom to make and keep your own jar of nickels.

I’d wonder why the “organizers and law team” are trying to shut me up and tell me what to say/not say when I have the first amendment protection in this country. I’d wonder who the

People, here is a group of totally dependent idiots. From their website’s posting of minutes from some meeting, they are looking to those evil capitalists to provide clothing, blankets, sleeping bags. They’re asking for volunteer doctors, nurses, lawyers, dentists, people to do loads of laundry. They need someone to print up fliers. Volunteers for a food committee. They hate capitalism but are sure dependent on it to provide for them.

Yes, they should stop listing demands – the “vanguard of the proletariat” will establish the “party line” so that all comrades will know what the “official truth” is. Anyone that publishes anything other than the party line must be silenced, suppressed, or delegitimized. The “little people” don’t know how to really articulate their demands, so the cadres will come out and re-educate those people. “Distortion” is right – if the movement is actually public with it’s demands, the movement WILL look like it is a bunch of extremist nut jobs. In fact, the “cause” is so important that we should throw in the gulag anyone that can’t follow the party line – that’s the path to true freedom. Geez!

These are just a few nuggets if debt is erased: Pensions are gone. 401k’s are erased. All bank deposits vanish. Stock market goes to 0. Those are the obvious things. Our civil society is based upon wealth and credit … aka banking.

You could try explaining to them how an iphone would be impossible in a neo-feudal society.. but I’m afraid they’d just blink at you. These people aren’t just stupid. They’re butt-stupid. This is Obama’s base

    Occupy Wall Street – Astroturf.

Fake demonstrations are a turn-off for real people.

The Tea Parties can and should still peel off the ones who attend but who are repelled by what they see and hear at these “demonstrations.”

“Judging a person does not define who they are… It defines who YOU are.” ~ Anonymous

“This country needs a revolution approximately every 20 years. Just to keep it honest.” ~ Thomas Jefferson

The REAL threat to America, and why these people are protesting… IMO.

  • JPeden

Imbeciles indeed. But, hey, somebody has to make Obama look smart by comparison, and these are them. They’re his kind of “workers”, doing the “labor” whereby the “rich” get rich by ripping it off their backs. And I know that every time a poor person is born in Africa I get richer, don’t you?

But it’s too bad they couldn’t elicit “solidarity” from any more than about 0.5%? of the numbers of people attracted there as compared to the numbers of people who would otherwise be using the areas they “occupied”/obstructed if they weren’t there, eh?

  • kato

These aren’t even useful idiots. They’re useless idiots.

But they show how dumb sheep can be indoctrinated.

  • down with greed and stuff!

and I want a free college education and I wanna walk right into a $100,000/yr position and I want my debt cleared and unicorns and rainbows and I WAS TOLD THERE WOULD BE SKITTLES oh and government is corrupt so we need the government to do more stuff for us that is free!

  • Dean Toadblatt

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha…! What a bunch of lunatics. Even if they didn’t have “demands”, they’re still idiots just for being there. Protesting Capitalism, the very thing that’s given us prosperity? Stupid.

  • Well, this explains my brand-new commenters who screeched that I was claiming these were official demands, even though I didn’t say they were. They’re just on clean-up duty.

Sounds like the MSM doesn’t like the protesters. They’re doing the same things they did to the TEA Party protesters: Pick the craziest dude or dudette they can find, who will go on camera, and get their six second sound bite. Next thing ya know, ALL of the protesters are crazy, stinky nutbags… Can’t have legitimate protests, donchya know. Makes Teh One look bad.

It’s true. These aren’t poor people. It’s the privileged campus elite who have never had to work for a living out there doing what this bunch does every single generation.
Maybe a crack on the head here will give them a life lesson they’ve been able to avoid thus far.
Hope I don’t sound too much like James Hoffa there.

“Disperse this band of would-be thugs we much!! (and much we will)”

Ok… I’ll admit I was totally doing that.

The guy calling for a $20 minimum “living wage” for everyone, even the unemployed, and open borders, and free healthcare and free college tuition….etc.

Yeah, I posted that link in a lot of places; it was a post, on the “Occupy Wall Street” site, with a list of “demands” that they wanted… I guess I was being inappropriate and making them look more foolish than they are…

I’m not sure I agree though; can I really make them look more foolish than they are?

    Patty commented:

“I hope that these aren’t College graduates. But some maybe, yet, fortunately some students with intelligence won’t conform to this outrageous activity. They are wasting their futures but it is their right to protest.”

Patty, I bet a lot of them ARE college graduates and that’s exactly their problem. You can’t make it through a typical college semester, not to mention four full years or, God forbid! a graduate degree, without being completely brainwashed and rendered unfit for a normal, productive life.

  • One of them tried to tell me this article is old and misinformed etc., but the reason is they put a disclaimer at the top of the forum now to explain it’s not official.

However, in relation to the facts, they kept the commentary that’s listed here, so, I told him it’s still legitimate. It was a good 40 minutes of tweeting back and forth hahah.

Great Job gateway pundit Jim Hoft 🙂

I find the “raised fist” on their web page evocative of violence, something the left actually seems to be quite competent at. I’m still trying to figure out the whole socialism is anarchy thing, don’t they realize that the two are mutually exclusive? As for everyone thinking that they are hypocritical idiots, well… This also answers my question of where all the “anti-[republican]war hypocrites are these days.

Let me get this straight. the top 1% don’t want to pay taxes…and the top 1% don’t want to hire anyone. Instead they want to buy new Yachts and Private planes.

Wall street and the top 1% of people represents the Brittish Kingdom, and we the rest of the people represents the 13 colonies. It’s time to say no more more to the kingdom, it’s time for another Revolution.

wake up people stop listing to the news about this movement and research it for yourselfs. maybe you dont care you are not heard in washington over the elites money. maybe you dont care about anything but american idol. maybe you are stuck on this left right propaganda. anybody who thinks this movement is about obama needs to open your eyes do your own research because this movement is full of people who are sick of being ran over by political theater and the elites loop holes. most of this movement wants to change the hole face of washington. yes even obama the corporate lawyer. but guess what none of them even care what any of us think not the left or right unless you are paying big money.wake up people stop playing into these propagandist games think for yourselfs. you are part of the 99% the same people out there right and left.

People must understand the difference between Capitalism and Democracy. Capitalism is a “form of doing business” — Democracy is a “state of being” of the people of a country. Where the two overlap is when Capitalists create huge amounts of debt and pass it onto the people of a Democracy. Every time a company or person makes a million or a billion dollars and brags about it remember that that money will have to be paid by the tax payers at some point because that is the only way money is created. Capitalists do not create money — they create debt for taxpayers to pay eventually. Money is a form of energy and can only be created by work, not by the pen. The Capitalists have created Trillions in debt over the past decades and now we the taxpayers have to pay up for it. Sound like a communist state? Well it is when greed gets involved. Capitalism can only work if it is controlled by those who have to eventually cover this debt. ie: people or government. As long as politicians are allowed to be bought by big business it will have to be the people. GO “OCCUPY WALLSTREET” YOU ARE OUR ONLY HOPE.

You need an agenda that makes sense. First, banks must make loans to people to buy homes and start businesses. Second, CEOs must make realistic salaries not ones that are a thousand times the salaries of their workers. Third, taxes must be graduated much more so that the very rich pay very large amounts of taxes, which would cause CEOs who would not be making so much to invest more in R and D instead of pocketing profits. This would be a beginning. The banks were bailed out to avoid a run on them and a true crisis. Now, that they have the money, they need to lend it. Fourth, we need an investment vehicle for the average Joe that pays a decent interest rate. That would be incentive to save.

  • drew

They are already trying to get people to pull money out of certain banks. The current conditions, which are the dream conditions of the far right for a supposedly successful economy, can only lead to the complete dissolving of an economy and a united nation.

  • Y Knot

The movement needs some clear, easily followed actions that normal people can take:
the motto is: WITHDRAW your consent
    the actions are:
Withdraw deposits from ‘too big to fail banks’
    Don’t join the military
    Don’t vote republican or democrat
    Pay taxes legal but late
