Earlier this year Khaled al-Qoddoumi told Ahlul Bayt News Agency that the ultimate goal of the movement was to free the entire Palestinian land, destroy the Zionist regime and rescue the revered Quds from the claws of the Zionists.

Khaled al-Qoddoumi, the senior Hamas representative in Iran, announced today that the main objective of the Islamic Awakening is to bring Jerusalem back under Muslim control.
Iranian Fars News reported:

Collapse of dictatorial regimes by popular uprisings in the region has posed a major threat to the Israeli regime, a senior Palestinian figure said, and added that bringing Beit al-Moghaddas (Jerusalem) back to Muslim control is the main demand of the recent Muslim revolutions and growing Islamic awakening in the region.

The representative of the Palestinian Hamas movement in Tehran, Khaled al-Qoddoumi, pointed to the recent popular uprisings in the region and their effects on the Palestinians’ popular movements, and said, “Today, the enemy is really feeling a threat and danger because those regime which unfortunately served Israel’s goals and supported it have now collapsed.”

“Governments in Egypt and Tunisia that were supporters of the Israeli regime on the Middle-East’s political scenes have now collapsed and this is a threat to Israel, the enemy,” he stated.

Qoddoumi pointed to the expulsion of the Israeli envoy from Egypt and anti-Israeli demonstrations in Tunisia, and stressed that people in region want a return of Beit al-Moghaddas to Muslims.

“The return of Beit al-Moghaddas is the demand of Islamic awakening,” he reiterated.

He further stressed unity among Palestinian groups as a priority for all Palestinians given the changing climate in the Middle-East.

Egyptians raided the Israeli embassy in Cairo earlier this month and forced the Israeli ambassador to leave their country.

  1. Jerusalem (and Israel) have been Jewish for 3000 years or more. What they want is to claim something that is not theirs. Islam started in the 7th c A.D. Muslims simply have have no claim.

  2. How would they feel about bringing Mecca or Medina or Babylon or any of the other Muslim holy cities back under Jewish control? Do they really want peace or just conquest?…rhetorical question.

  3. “The return of Beit al-Moghaddas is the demand of Islamic awakening,” he reiterated.

    Er …what ??
The muzzies raped Lara Logan for A-Qudds ? So why did the MFMedia tell us that it was for democracy and freedom ?

  4. Good luck with that. I have a feeling that place would glow in the dark for the next 2000 years before that happens.

  5. im confused, so what the arab spring a good thing or bad thing… Obama has told me different stories on multiple occasions

  6. It’s interesting to note that Jerusalem (Beit al-Moghaddas) is never mentioned in the Koran.
    Not even once.

The Palis see we have a weak inexperienced incompetent leader so they decided to strike while the iron is hot.
In a year or so the door will close and they and other terrorists won’t have a good of a chance.

  7. The corrupted UN sure knew what they were doing when they gave the Jews that tiny peace of land in1948, that is now known as Israel. They gave them Eternal Chaos!

I like Jews, I always did and always will. I have many Jewish friends. But just like Americans, they are good people, but they both have very corrupted governments.

Israel created Hamas, like USA created Al Qaeda. And now, both Americans and Jews are wondering what the hell is going on. My God, it’s not hard to figure it out. Just get rid of the corruption!

  8. The “Palestinians” are a false people with equally false claims.
Jerusalem, in whole or in part, is not theirs to have. Not now. Not ever.

  9. Sure, but what type of Muslim. Iran/Hezbollah Shi’a will not take kind if Egypt/MB/Hamas Sunni take control and leave them out. If the wrong type are on the verge of victory not that they would be against the IDF but they will turn on themselves faster then winning Jerusalem.

  10. The rug burns on muslims’ foreheads makes me laugh. One of these days, really expect to see Obummer’s rug burn.
    .

  11. I thought the same thing, Mr. GoodWrench….

Does anyone think the libs are shocked at this revelation? I doubt it. They are vibrating with anticipation over the prospect of more dead Jews.

  12. Everybody knows that the Jews were there and settled that land, and trekked the desert with Moses the land that G-d promised centuries ago. Now comes along the Muslims from Mecca , about 7 to 8th century when the cult was born and claim this so called Palestine state. Just a thought.

  13. I’ve got an idea, Craig…send Ron Paul to run for Prime Minister of Israel!

I’ve got to say you are always good for a laugh.

  14. Islamicists want to control Jerusalem??? Give me a break and Cut the manure and get to the point … You want Israel destroyed ….. Surprise surprise … unless the Jews flat out surrender … Islam has NO CHANCE … Islam has gotten its butts kicked by Israel in 3 straight wars of agression by Islam .. even though the Arabs had far supriority in numbers, guns and finances …. Truth to tell .. Islamic men are pansies … Good in face to face fight ONLY WHEN THEY KILL THEIR OWN WOMEN IN HONOR KILLING . and even then .. they need Sharia law to protect their big fat cowardly butts … Israel and its Jews HAVE NEVER been compensated for all the land and money stolen from them when they lived in Arab – Islamic lands .. Not a word about that from the MSM or the gullible West … Israel should immediately evict all Palestinians to Jordan ,.. the nation the UN orginally intended the Palestinians to live … and they should all go back to killing and raping their own women .. so they can feel like “men” ..at least but only in their minds ..

  15. Being way off topic: Here is a story that flys in the face of Elizebeth Warren’s view of what creates prosperity. Businesses go to Africa looking for opportunity. It isn’t the government’s infrastructure that get things moving.

    http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424053111904060604576570541250028496.html?mod=WSJ_hp_LEFTTopStories

    Some quotes:

“The South African unit of Nestle SA is spending about $56 million to expand production of instant noodles and cereals such as Cheerios. The Swiss conglomerate is also opening an instant noodle factory in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, one of Africa’s poorest countries. Before Nestle invests in a new African country, it sizes up access to water and electricity.

The company will also walk away at the first hint of corruption, according to executive vice president Frits van Dijk. “We have lost opportunities where we had to say no because of that,” he says. Nestle aims to have 33 factories on the continent by 2015, up from 28 now. ”

“One of the companies Business Partners is backing is Primolitos, a South African supplier of hot sauces and condiments that in May opened a glistening new factory in Johannesburg. It hasn’t been smooth sailing. During an unrelated metal workers strike, a brick came through the company’s conference-room window. Trucks transporting its condiments have been hijacked. But Primolitos is now among the few local food manufacturers that can meet standards for global customers.”

“Many small manufacturers in Africa not only survive but thrive in imperfect environments. To maintain shoe production, Fut Conceptus Manufacturing Nigeria Ltd. runs four electric generators, at a cost of $500 in fuel a day. The chronic power outages have scared off bigger Chinese shoemakers and allowed Fut Conceptus to build up a brand in west Africa, according to Olumide Wole-Madariola, the factory’s 44-year-old Nigerian founder. It makes men’s moccasins and ladies’ sandals out of Nigerian leather that used to be sold only abroad.

“Nobody was ready for what we were doing,” says Mr. Wole-Madariola. “Nobody was ready for “Made in Nigeria.”"

  16. This is infuriating. Really maddening. The entire fabric of the so-called “Palestinian” cause is woven out of lies, more lies, and bigger lies. Yet we have world leaders, including our own Doofuss-in-Chief, who go about sounding as clueless and ridiculous as our crazy friend Craig.

These “leaders” either know the truth but lie about it for nefarious purposes, or they are so ignorant that they have no business leading anything more significant than a one-float parade.

Aiding and abetting the anti-Israel politicians are the left-wing media giants, who are equally corrupt and/or ignorant of any shred of history.

    1. There has never been, in the history of the world, a sovereign nation of Palestine.

    2. Arabs were handed such a sovereign nation in 1948, but instead of accepting and living in peace, they rejected it in favor of 6 decades of war. And yet now, the Arabs act as though a homeland is all they ever wanted, when they are the ones who threw it away.

    3. Jordan controlled the West Bank for decades, and yet refused to give their brother Arabs a sovereign state there, in the exact same spot where Arabs now clamor for such a state, and claim that Israel is to blame for there not being one.

Everything coming out of the mouths of the Arabs who call themselves Palestinians (and all their boneheaded enablers) is a lie. If they once told the truth, their entire cause would collapse like a house of cards.

  17. i hoped you notice he said “islamic awakening” not “arab spring.”

  18. @Redwine #8:

    Amen.

  19. With the implied support of this regime, why wouldn’t they make their true goals known. Israel must not capitulate, trust and obey G-d.

  20. Interesting that they place such importance on Jerusalem, yet their own holy book doesn’t even mention the city.

    http://www.jihadwatch.org/2008/06/jerusalem-is-not-mentioned-in-the-koran-even-once-you-cant-rewrite-the-koran-on-air-on-al-jazeera.html

  21. Islamic awakening??? Islam needs to be put to sleep.. permanently.

  22. Come on Isreal leak the intelligence of what is really going on. Wink! Wink!

  23. This Obama administration is ok dealing with these people? That’s almost proof of how amateurish and ill-equipped our leaders are. Reality is, the Palestinian goal is to kill all the Jews. They are like a nest of rattlesnakes, and there’s no negotiating with them, so fuggetaboutit. The only solution for the Israelis is victory, and short of that, some unexpected realization by the Palestinians that they’re never going to achieve their goal/and a reorientation of their young people to seek a new peaceful way. Maybe that’ll take a few more hundred years.

  24. The Dhimmi left believes everything they are told by the Islamists. You know, religion of peace and all that. Then they seem to fluff off the commentary like this where the Islamists do not even try to hide what their plans are and state it outright.

  25. “the Palestinian goal is to kill all the Jews.” cal rifkin (25#)

“Islam needs to be put to sleep.. permanently.” czekmark (#23)

So if I understand this correctly, you want both sides to destroy each others. Hum!

Dr. Zuhdi Jasser discusses his objections to Durban III

Video: Zuhdi Jasser on how to separate
mosque and state in the Arab Spring …

Perhaps the most intriguing speaker at the DurbanWatch conference was Zuhdi Jasser, the president of the American Islamic Forum for Democracy. People wonder why more Muslims don’t speak out against the Islamists, but Jasser does just that — and did so at the conference as well. In fact, he sounded a lot like John Bolton in his desire to export democracy to the Arab Spring countries, as well as his derision of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and other corruptocrats in the region. I asked Jasser to discuss his call to Muslim nations to “separate mosque and state,” and how the US can avoid both isolation and discrediting organic democratization in the region:

Jasser insists that the US cannot sit on the sidelines while the region convulses, as the people of the region needs to have the Western, Reformation model demonstrated and promoted. As I tweeted during his speech, Jasser sometimes sounds a bit neocon-like (his speech included this quote: “I’m offended that Durban III is taking place near Ground Zero”), but Jasser says the US has to learn to use a more subtle touch than we have shown so far. But we also have to know that we won’t solve this problem overnight — it might take two generations to rid the region of the effects of the decades of “nuclear political winter” these people have suffered under the dictatorships. We have to engage the Islamists just as we engaged the communists, and perhaps focus on the generation to come.

  27. 28….huhhh?

  28. Actually, the goal is world conquest, the murder of every Jew on the face of the earth, and the murder of every non-Muslim that may be found in an area ever held by a “Muslim” regime. They have a contract to do that.

    http://avalon.law.yale.edu/20th_century/hamas.asp

We should take this contract seriously. They do.

  29. This is all part of God’s plan. These heathen nations will march against the land of Israel, and God will slay them all.

  30. #30: Cal, it’s a losing battle trying to make any sense out of Craig’s posts. We would have better luck debating a tree stump.

  31. The muslims can have Jerusalem when they truthfully convert to Judaism. They are most welcome aboard on that happy day.

  32. It’s funny Joanne, I was thinking much the same thing. I hear what this guy says and all the time in the back of my mind, I’m hearing…

‘Why do the heathen rage? And the people imagine a vain thing?

He who sits in the heavens shall laugh. The Lord shall have them in derision.’

  33. The God of all creation took the promised land away from the Canaanites and gave it to Israel as an everlasting possession. Jerusalem is the place where the God of Israel has chosen to put His Name. Those who would war against Israel are warring against God, and it will not turn out good for them. They won’t win.

  34. I know this would never happen, but one can wish can’t they? What needs to be done in order to give the so-called Palestinian’s a land, is for Egypt to let the PLO have the Northern coast of the Siani Pennensula. That way the Isreali’s could consolidate their entire country by not having the Gaza Stripe occupied, and the Palestinian’s would have their own land between Egypt and Israel where they would have a really good coast line, plenty of land to build on, and they would be separated from Israel so there wouldn’t be any question about where they were and on whose land they were on.

But, I know that’s not going to happen because that’s not what the PLO and all the other Middle East really want to do. What they want to do is throw Israel out of the Middle East so they can have a entire region that is all together in one land mass, like any other country has, and an area where all the people there speak one language and believe one religion, their’s.

  35. It just drives me up the wall when I hear some Muslim scumbag talk like he knows anything about where and what should be done with Israel. Jerusalem has belonged to the Jews for centuries long before there ever was an Arab presence in the region. More history took place before the Arabs ever found their way out of the desert than has passed since, and this butt hole thinks a city as important to the Jewish and Christian’s should be in the filthy hands of some terrorist Muslims. Their hands are covered with so much blood that I doubt seriously that God would ever allow them to take Jerusalem under their control again. And as far as I am concerned, the Israeli’s should throw out all Arabs from the rest of Israel and destroy the so-called Dome of the Rock, where a lie lays. No wonder the Anti-Christ wants to use that spot to proclaim he is God, look at what is there now, another lie!!

  36. Everybody knows the Palestinian’s aren’t going to get a state. Like, where? They are saying back to the 1967 border’s, like Obama suggested, and don’t think that was a coinsedence because he had been in contact with them before he made that speech, and that’s where the ’67 borders slip of the tongue came from. Oh, he didn’t mean it. Right.!?

And everybody in the Middle East also knows that the only thing the Palestinian’s are going to get is more rockets from Iran to shell Israel with and kill more people. The only reason why the Palestinian’s want statehood is because they know they’re going to be vetoed and that’s all the reason they need to kill somemore Jews!
