More hope and change…
Obama blamed the Republican “hostage takers” today for his caving in on the Bush tax cuts.
“It’s tempting not to negoitate with hostage takers unless the hostage gets harmed… In this case, the hostage was the American people.”

Obama also called Republicans “bomb throwers.”
Obama also said the tax cuts for the wealthy were the Republican’s Holy Grail.
…Just like tax hikes are the democrat’s Holy Grail, we can assume.

This Marxist snubs honest simplicity but fondles artistic villainy.
How many times has he demonstrated his capacity for exaggeration. His indifference to the boundary between fact and fantasy has become the hallmark of his of conscious states.
His self indulgence, chest thumping assertions, social preening, big spending allusions, wild and crazy dissipations on the national debt are merely regarded as the conduct of a miraculously temperate president.
This American president, sadly constitutes the expermental concepts of a fop.

The contrast is just unbelievable when you think of what we really, really need in terms of leading the country forward in some very dark times against the profound amateurishness of Obama and his administration. A woefully pathetic press conference.
When a compromise is reached, a REAL President will congratulate the leaders of both sides for finding a middle ground, and he will focus on the fact that common ground was reached and how this represents the best for the American people and how he will hope that they will continue to find common ground to solve the many other pressing problems that currently exist. If we’re going to solve any of those, it will need bi-partisan support, and yes, compromises.
I’ve NEVER heard a “president” lambaste BOTH sides of the political compromise while congratulating only himself. Of course, we’ve never had a president quite like this one.
Utterly and completely “non-presidential” – this man is a child, a boy, an immature spoiled brat.
What an utterly pathetic performance. Is this how he expects to garner support for the many, many other problems we face? What a fool!

Hey wait a minute…. aren’t the rich folks the ones that give me my paycheck every Friday. If you raise taxes on them, then they will likely cut my pay and raise the price of our goods and services that we offer at my job. Oh yeah…. and then more taxes on my wealthy boss means that they may have to lay a few people off next year… Oh wait…… what if it is me that they have to lay off?!@?? Please Mr. Socialist, don’t penalize people for success. It is what made the United States a refuge for merchants.
And then there are the vendors that we use at my work. Some of them will have higher taxes, so they in turn will have to charge my company more money for the work that they do for us. My gosh Mr. Obama, maybe your compromise on extending tax cuts for the rich as well ain’t all that bad. I sure want to keep my job, and I don’t want to see the price of our goods and services go up anymore than they already have. They are high enough already.

say anything but “honor Pearl Harbor survivors et al” today hey Obama..
don’t recall hearing from any of the high falutin’ Dems or Reps either..
re: Cuts are GOP’s ‘holy grail’
flashback: Democrats wake up to being the party of the rich
[A legislative proposal that was once on the fast track is suddenly dead. The Senate will not consider a plan to extract billions in extra taxes from megamillionaire hedge fund managers.
The decision by Senate majority leader Harry Reid, the Nevada Democrat, surprised many Washington insiders, who saw the plan as appealing to the spirit of class warfare that infuses the Democratic party. Liberal disappointment in Mr Reid was palpable at media outlets such as USA Today, where an editorial chastised: "The Democrats, who control Congress and claim to represent the middle and lower classes, ought to be embarrassed."
Far from embarrassing, this episode may reflect a dawning Democratic awareness of whom they really represent. For the demographic reality is that, in America, the Democratic party is the new "party of the rich". More and more Democrats represent areas with a high concentration of wealthy households. Using Internal Revenue Service data, the Heritage Foundation identified two categories of taxpayers - single filers with incomes of more than $100,000 and married filers with incomes of more than $200,000 - and combined them to discern where the wealthiest Americans live and who represents them.
Democrats now control the majority of the nation's wealthiest congressional jurisdictions. More than half of the wealthiest households are concentrated in the 18 states where Democrats control both Senate seats.]
flashforward: Tax Cuts For The Rich:
Democrats, Get. Out. Of. The. Way.
[Democratic politicians and liberal bloggers continue to scream about "millionaires" tax cuts, quoting polls showing more Americans are against letting the Bush tax cuts expire for the rich while extending the tax cuts for everyone else.
We have seen this same movie, it was called Obamacare
aka Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.]

How many ‘hostages’ were shot or bombed (you bomb throwers know who you are) before we decided that maybe we should start negotiating? Who got called in as the negotiator? Have we notified the family members of the hostages? I mean good gosh you would think that when this event took place our illustrious media would have mentioned we were under attack?

Just pathetic.
It is the VRWC all over again.
After the Carter Malaise and the Clinton Malfeasance, we watched Democrats grow increasingly deranged and delusional. Seeing their folly flunk and fail so dramatically YET AGAIN, with the recent Obama, Clinton, Pelosi, Reid fiasco – they are going to further grow even more bitter and unstable.
Democrats have proven they simply have no clue, and should never be allowed to have any influence or power again.
And this painful reality is hitting the fan, as Obama gets uglier and uglier. For Obama, given everything without ever really working for it, never having any management experience in the real world, he is going to become far more jaded facing his enormous failure.

OK so Obama says Republicans are hostage takers and bomb throwers. News flash pal: the American people just kicked out a load of Democrats and replaced them with Republicans. So now you have even more hostage takers and bomb throwers to deal with, plus you have just spit in the face (yet again) of the voting public. The people wanted Republicans to stop you, which is why the election went the way it did, and there will be even more Republican roadblocks for you over the next two years because that’s the will of the people. Deal with it.

In my whole life I do not remember a President that as been so hostile to the opposing party so many times, nor one who openly referred to a segment of voters as the enemy. For a man who promised an end to racial strife his administration has gone out of their way to foster discontent within the nation by pitting one group against the other from the start. Is there examples of such behavior in the past, probably, but not to the extent practiced by this administration. Almost all opposition to their agenda is bathed in the light of race, or class. This does not represent the hope and change most Americans thought this man promised. Sadly I feel there is a segment that viewed him as tool to address old wounds real and imagined. If for no other reason I do not trust his administration, Pelosi, and Reid with or without his consent have destroyed his promise of a better America.

Listening to Obama’s news conference one thing struck me. He was asked what he was going to do about North Korea. He said that he had the tax deal to worry about and that N. Korea would have to wait. I hope N. Korea doesn’t mind being forced to go to the back of the bus.

Obama still has the majority in both the House and Senate right now. He had no reason to ‘compromise’, just like he ‘compromised’ on the ‘stimulus’ and Obamacare. He could’ve rammed his tax hike through just like he did with everything else. He is trying to salvage his Presidency by blaming the GOP for his failures.
The economy is failing and raising taxes will cause it to crash and burn. He cannot bring himself to admit he was wrong. Once again he tries the old ‘Republicans are for the rich’ meme, yet he is doing it with his own party still in power. The MSM of course, are repeating the accusation since they have a vested interest in keeping him President.
