Wow! Brought tears to my eyes! A true man of God, a family man, and a Patriot! I wonder if ESPN likes this guy? (I don’t know, as I don’t watch, but I would suspect he is not one of their favorites. Hope I am wrong about this, however.)

A humble giant. What an outstanding role model. He and La Russa are class acts.

Albert Pujols is adored by fans around the country and around the Western Hemisphere. And yes, he gets great respect from sports broadcasters in the media. His stats and his life speak for themselves. As a Christian, excellence is one of our best witnesses. Albert is excellence personified. This lifelong Die Hard Cub fan salutes the great Cardinal and great human being, Albert Pujols. Thank you for lending your presence to this event.

And really hot too!

Great speech and it’s wonderful to hear him express himself in such humble terms and be unapologetically Christian.
That said, if he is still joining some of those MLB players who are smearing AZ and its immigration law, Mr. Pujols does not deserve to be celebrated. It would be akin to celebrating La Raza if they were also doing some nice things in their community based on Christianity.
I certainly hope that Mr. Pujols informs himself on the facts about SB 1070 in AZ and our immigration laws here in the USA, because he seems like a very humble, nice person who is using his celebrity as a MLB player to give back to the community. Someone with such God-given talent and ability and with such a high profile within his sport would be a great role model for both belief in Christ and charity work.

Alberto Pujulito, eres um hombre con un “h” grande!

This man is clearly a hatemonger. He puts Jesus Christ above all other gods. And he favors Downs syndrome over other diseases, especially AIDS and breast cancer.
I bet the jackasses in suits at ESPN quit talking about him, even after he hits his 600th home run. He’s not even a prancing camera-hog like LeBoob, TO or Ochocinco.

Hey, Michael in MI, shut the hell up. You’re just as bad as the libs who claim Ernest Borgnine shouldn’t receive a life time achievement award because he didn’t like “Broke Back Mountain”. Pujols is what Ronald Reagan used to call an 80% friend, not an 20% enemy.
Greg commented:
He must be one of those “whitey racist hatemongers” that MSNBC has been talking about. Just like Mrs. King and all of the other people of color that were there, way more visible than I thought they would be by the way. GOOD FOR YOU ALBERT! GOD BLESS AMERICA! WHITE BLACK HISPANIC ASIAN WHATEVER!
PS, Please be here legally, that is all we ask…..
