Cardinals Manager LaRussa Comes Out in Favor of Tea Parties & Arizona Immigration Law

Popular St. Louis Cardinals Manager Tony LaRussa came out in support of the tea party movement and the Arizona immigration law. Last night an excited group of St. Louis tea party patriots attended the Cardinal’s game here in town against the Arizona Diamondbacks. LaRussa said he supported the patriots after the game.

“This is America, right? You’re supposed to have opinions… I’m actually in support of what Arizona is doing. If the national government won’t fix your problem and you got a problem, you got to do fix it yourself.”

If Al Quaeda could vote or have representatives all ready in the us as citizens, (O)Stupid AHole would be against immigration. As long as the lunatic OStupidO wins for the gerneral election 2012, he does not care. That means more golfing, bowling, going to baseball games, parties on Thrusdays, watching movies on Fridays and then maybe if the president’s job gets in the way, make about an hour or two a week to cover that sh&%!

No politics at the ball park? If tea party supporters don’t meet and greet at the ball park and/or in the audience of American Idol, they’ll miss three-quarters of all Americans. And that’s the three-quarters that really need an introduction to the Constitution.

“Make sure that we’ve got a civilian expeditionary force that, when we go out into some village somewhere and the military makes it secure, let’s have that agricultural specialist right there, let’s have that person who knows how to train a police force right there, let’s — let’s have all those personnel and let’s make sure that we are giving them the support that they need in order for us to be successful on our mission.”
The president warned that if the civilian side is shortchanged it could lead to another “very dangerous situation” if the diplomatic work is not done and “the only solution is a military solution that might cost us five times as much.”
Within the administration’s National Security Strategy – released at the end of May – one of the components is a civilian expeditionary force which the White House says is “fundamental” to national security.

Don’t forget, the Phoenix Suns NBA team themselves got political in opposing the AZ law. I think fans were encouraged to share that view–but not to disagree, I recall.
The headline said something about “supporters of immigration reform”. Um, not quite what the conventional wisdom interpretation of those words–>amnesty.

As a long-time A’s fan, I’ve been a fan of LaRussa since his days with the A’s. Even when he left for St Louis, I always followed his team’s progress. That’s why although the A’s hasn’t done well since LaRussa left, I always rooted for him and am glad when St. Louis won two World Series with him.
I also know that he’s a good guy because of his work in animal rescue here in the Bay Area. Now I find out he supports the Tea Party and the Arizona law, this just makes my day.
