STOP THE MADNESS!… Stop Bob Corker & the Godawful No-Good Banking Bureaucracy Boondoggle

Join the Protest at Senator Corker’s Office in Memphis today:
After all of the posturing and preening and shouting and yelling and marching and tea party protesting, America is about to get the whole Democrat agenda shoved down our collective throat. Barack Obama announced on Wednesday that Democrats are going to use reconciliation to jam Obamacare through Congress and essentially nationalize one-sixth of the US economy. And now, Republicans are about to offer them the rest of the American economy on a silver platter thanks to Senator Bob Corker. Congress is currently working to create a whole new consumer protection division within the Federal Reserve. This new division will give the Fed more power and focus on consumer protection. And, a Republican, Bob Corker, is for some reason leading the charge to create this whole new bureaucracy.
STOP BOB CORKER– Attend the Protest or Call His Office TODAY
(202) 224-3344
UPDATE: Please continue to call Senator Corker’s office. His team is starting to squirm.
UPDATE 2: Team Corker is handing out this at the rally today:

This does not answer why the Republican Senator wants to expand government and create another massive bureaucracy to further impede the free market.

I called and the worker said that he is just putting his input in this bill. She said he doesn’t want bail-outs and said this is different than the house bill passed last year, followed by (political gobbledy-gook bs). I said “whatever” – I don’t believe it. Corker and Lamar are both a pair of RINOs.

I would go if I were anywhere near. What part of out of control government growth and spending is so difficult to understand?

Just called and let them know a piece of this angry American’s mind! This guy is a disgrace. They all are. I often wonder what would be the reaction from Thomas Jefferson and George Washington at the behavior of our current government. It wouldn’t be pretty, I can tell you that.

Uhh….did anyone else notice that this article says FEBRUARY 4th? This is March. Is it a typo…or am I missing something essential here?
Just wondering.
As far as the Senator is concerned….he sounds like he is out of his mind. Political suicide.

That line of thinking is why republicans should be replaced with conservatives.

Just called and the woman that answered says there is no bill. I said I am not happy with what he is working on. That I do not support any expansion of the federal government. That I was sick of taxpayer money being used for bailouts. She was clearly exasperated (probably getting a lot of calls about now, something that office hasn’t been used to up to now I suspect) and simply said she would tell the Senator. It’s disappointing.

This is exactly what Glen Beck was talking about with his CPAC speech. Republicans and democrats are all too often the same now.
Don’t automatically vote or support “republican”. Instead, vote and support small government conservatives.

I think people jumped the gun here. The problem is Obama, it is not Corker or any other Republican.

Republicans like Lamar and Corker for years have been as guilty as democrats for laying a foundation of government entitlement and intrusion. They use different code words to mask the spread of the federal government, but the result is the same. Remember when Corker voted against offshore drilling, remember when Lamar voted for that embarrassment Eric Holder. A conservative and Republican are obviously not always the same thing, as a churchgoer and a Christian are not always the same.

Can you please explain why the headline includes the word ‘Godawful’. Is it simply to be crude and profane?
