Barack Obama spoke with fellow democrats today and told them they must “finsih the job” and ram his unpolular nationalized health care bill through Congress.
Breitbart reported:
Obama tells Democratic lawmakers they have to ‘finish the job’ and enact health care overhaul.
More… Yesterday in New Hampshire Barack told the audience that health care was “on the 5 year line and we got to punch it through.”
It’s af if the Virginia, New Jersey and Massachusetts elections never happened.

Part of me wants them to go ahead and do it. If they pass this monstrosity they run the risk of being locked out of power for a generation. The American people will react very poorly to being ignored and having these politicians try to take over their health care choices.
So stop talking about it and do it.

The old I Love Lucy Show comes to mind. Lucy and Ethel get a job on an assembly line wrapping candies. All is going well at first and they think what a breeze this is then the candies start coming out faster and faster until they could no longer cope and there was nowhere to hide the unwrapped candy.
Well Obama’s problems are coming thick and fast as the American people see the Messiah is just a clueless amateur. No matter how much he talks the unwrapped problems continue to pile up.

Ego, Obama’s Achilles’ Heel
Our master of deception president accuses Republicans of standing in the way of his government-run health care plan. In reality, the Republicans do not have enough votes to stop any item on Obama’s unprecedented, far-left, radical agenda. Obama believed that he could silence all dissent from “we the people” by playing the race card. Yes, Obama the all-powerful seemed unstoppable. Who could have ever predicted that the weight of Obama’s own arrogance would trigger his demise? Ego is Obama’s Achilles’ heel.

Chisum #14: You are correct: it’s Obama’s ego.
In Greek tragedies hubris was a basic formula. The great hero was brought to ruin by his overweaning pride. Hubris doesn’t pertain because ONE: B. Hussein is a ZERO and TWO: it is WE who will be ruined, not Zero.

The spectacular failure of Obama’s housing policy
There’s no other way to describe what Obama has wrought with his wrong headed, misguided policies for homeowners. It is an Epic Fail that has made the situation much worse and delayed the recovery in home values by artificially propping up mortgage holders who can’t pay.

So, I’ve been hearing this since the election of S. Brown. Nancy is going to pole vault, Harry is going strong-arm it, Barak is going to demmand it, but HOW? THEY DON’T HAVE THE VOTES…I feel like I’m flying in the face of God when I say that, because I put NOTHING past these people, but, really, HOW? Dana Perino was on FOX, and Greta V.S. asks: “Healthcare, dead or alive?” The words weren’t even out of her mouth, and Perino says “Dead.”‘
Are they REALLY going to try and peel off a Republican? They may not even have all of the dems. left from the original votes…

The South Carolina House on Tuesday voted 86-27 to affirm its support of the Ninth and Tenth Amendments that limit the scope of federal power, and gun rights under the Second Amendment.
“Today, we sent a message to Congress – South Carolina believes that the federal government is engaging in an unprecedented takeover of power from the states,” said House Speaker Bobby Harrell. “While there is no law we can pass to stop them, it is important to make our position and the position of our constituents known to the federal government….” {{SNIP}}
Republicans countered that Democrats were the ones wasting time delaying and arguing against the measure.
“Over the past several years, we have witnessed an incredible expansion of power and influence taken by the federal government,” said Harrell. “From the passage of a national Real ID to the recent attempt to socialize health care, the federal government is eroding away our constitutionally granted rights that empower individual states……”"

The $3.99 billion comes from a congressional slush fund known as the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program, which is part of the Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) $48.5 billion fiscal 2011 budget. CDBG grants, which are awarded to states and localities, pass indirectly to ACORN.

Rahm Emanuel: WH Was “Involved” In Health Legislation “All The Way Through”

Every fifth grader knows the U.S. Constitution requires a separation of powers through the three branches of government, the Executive, the Legislative and the Judicial. The Legislative Branch has the responsibility of making the laws. Would it be appropriate if a Supreme Court Justice took part in the process of writing a bill? Of course not! Then the present administration has overstepped their authority. This may have occurred in past administrations but for the sake of righteousness and adherence to the Constitution, it must stop NOW! The entire process of this bill was a violation of the Constitution. Shouldn’t it be thrown out?
Is anyone in Congress going to protest this usurpation of their Constitutional responsibility and demand that the President GET HIS HANDS OFF CONGRESS?! Are we on the road to becoming a dictatorship? Where are the Patriots?

H. L. Mencken:
As I have said, the system [i.e. government redistrbution] is simple, and for awhile it works well enough. The shrill gloats and exultations of A, who has got something for nothing, drown out the repining of B, who has lost something that he earned. B, in fact, becomes officially disreputable, and the more he complains, the more he is denounced and detested. …He actually believes that his property is his own, to remain in his keeping until he chooses to part with it. He is told at once that his information on the point is inaccurate, and his morals more than dubious. In an ideal democracy, he learns, property is at the disposal, not of its owners, but of politicians, and the chief business of politicians is to collar it by fair means or foul, and redistribute it to those whose votes have put him into office.
The Fathers of the Republic, who seem to be men of suspicious minds, apparently foresaw that the theory of democracy might develop along such lines, and they went to some trouble to prevent it…. Unhappily, they did not foresee the possibility of making changes, not by formal act, but by mere political intimidation–not by recasting its terms, but by distorting their meaning. …at this moment it is completely at the mercy of a gang of demagogues consecrated to reading into it governmental powers that are not only wholly foreign to its spirit, but categorically repugnant to its terms.
…Suffrage, in theory the palladium of our liberties, becomes the assurance of our slavery. And that slavery, will grow more and more abject and ignoble as the differential birth rate, the deliberate encouragement of mendicancy and the failure of popular education
produce a larger and larger mass of prehensile half-wits, and so make the demagogues more and more secure….
