Barack Obama tripled the federal budget deficit last year. He will likely top that this year. Just yesterday he signed legislation that authorized the US government to increase the debt by $1.9 trillion.
Today, Barack Obama had the gall to lecture America on politicians who, “Talk the talk but won’t walk the walk on fiscal responsibility.”

The CBO has stated over and over that 40% of the surplus decline (FY 01-02) was the result of a FORECASTING ERROR and a failure to predict the recession. Given that Obama knows this fact too, it is completely misleading for him to continue the BLAME BUSH rhetoric when the CBO facts so clearly undermine the lie he continues to spout. (oh, by the way, if he’s going to wag his finger let’s not forget he fails to mention the 28 House & and 12 Senate Democrats who agreed with Bush and supported those 2001 tax cuts)..
