Adam Andrzejewski: Like Lech Walesa in Poland We Will Bring Principles & Values Back to Illinois Government (Video)

Adam Andrzejewski spoke today in O’Fallon, Illinois. During his stop here in Western Illinois Andrzejewski spoke about the challenges that faced Lech Walesa in defeating the communist government in Poland. He told the standing room only crowd today that, like Lech Walesa and his Solidarity movement, he will help bring principles and values back to Illinois government.
…And Illinois certainly needs it.
“Those values of regular people need to go to Springfield and reform Springfield.”
Lech Walesa endorsed Adam Andrzejewski on Friday for Governor of Illinois.
In the final days of this primary campaign Adam Andrzejewski is surging in the polls. He has closed the gap from 9 points down to 2 points in the last 5 days with two days to go before the primary election.
More: I met with Adam today before his rally in O’Fallon and have to say that he was one of the nicest guys I have ever met in politics. He was a very successful businessman before he decided to run for governor and I believe he would be an incredible leader for Illinois.

Actually, the question that interests me is “Who do we have running in the state legislative primaries who can be trusted to work with him rather than try to undermine him?”. I haven’t forgotten the occasion when the Illinois GOP threw away a perfectly good Senate seat because they resented the honesty of Peter Fitzgerald. ^_^;
Anybody know of Tea Party people who are running in those particular races? o_O

We have some very good people in the STL Merto East stepping up to run, but no primary. Dwight Kay to chalange rep. jay Hoffman, Sam McCann to pummel Sen. Demuzzeo (sp), and newly appointed Senator Kyle McCarter will show us why the establishment is targeting the county chairmen who voted for him. The biggest races down here are for GOP county chair, were the establishment is targeting the reform minded Andrzejewski supporting chairmen.

Thanks for covering him. The IL media will not. Also, “Western Illinois” is much farther north such as in Quincy or even as far north as Rockford. You have to think in relation to Chicago, where they are often surprised that people exist south of I-80 and that they’re not all farmers. [Oh, the condescension I experienced from Chicago-based colleagues whenever they came to SPFLD. They seemed surprised that we wore business suits.]
In any case, IL will also use the terms “Metro East” or “Southwestern IL” to refer to our part of the state. “Downstate” is all land south of I-80.

Rush just gave a shout out to Adam And the Walesa visit to Chicago. I believe he sited a UK paper! stating you will not find the real coverage here…Also spoke of the ascendancy in IL.
