Especially now that the prosecution has lost one of their ‘star witnesses’, the testimony of singer Cassie Ventura has become even more pivotal in the trial of disgraced rap mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.
After the lunch break, 8-month pregnant Ventura took the stand again to talks about what she claims she suffered in the hands of Diddy – who signed her for a ten-album contract in his Bad Boy records, but never released the recordings.
Here’s some of what she said: Diddy controlled her appearance to look a certain way for ‘freak-offs’, told her to work out and keep her body in shape for the sex marathons.
She was once handed a gun by a security guard to hide in her purse when going into a club, though she was high on mushrooms and did not know how to use one.
In fact, Diddy had handguns in all of his homes.
New York Post reported:
“The guns were taken out here and there,” she said. “I always felt it was a little bit of a scare tactic.”
She said ‘the staff’ would take away her things if he was mad at her.
AUSA: What else did Sean pay for?
Ventura: Cars
AUSA: Did he give you cash?
Ventura: Yes. But he would take things away, depending on how he felt.
AUSA: What else would he take away?
Ventura: My self confidence.
AUSA: Who would take things away?

She recounted her first ‘freak-off’ in Las Vegas.
AUSA: How did you feel?
Ventura: I was high. So I didn’t feel much. Dirty and confusion. And that he was happy with me.
AUSA: Why did you feel you couldn’t say no?

Cassie told the jury that Diddy would suddenly become violent and his eyes would ‘go black’.
“’His look would just change over’, Cassie said. ‘He would just become a different person. I wouldn’t know what would happen. The version that I was in love with is no longer there’.”
She said Combs’ staff would make sure the rooms for the ‘freak-offs’ had baby oil, Astroglide personal lubricant and condoms.
She had to find male escorts in Craigslist and Backpage: ‘black males with a large penis’.
AUSA: Do you recall all of the freak offs?
Ventura: That would be impossible.
AUSA: Did you want to stop?
Ventura: Yes. I was humiliated. I didn’t have those words then. I couldn’t talk to anyone about it [sobs]

Soon the sex sessions escalated to humiliating S&M practices to which Cassie says she did not consent.
AUSA: Did you want to be urinated on?
Defense: Objection!
Judge: Grounds?
Defense: Asked and answered.
Judge: Overruled.
Ventura: No I did not want it.
AUSA: How did it feel?

She said was high on drugs (mostly ecstasy or MDMA) for every sex event, and she often vomited – but he made her continue.
AUSA: What would happen after the escort finished on you?
Ventura: Sean would want it put on his body in the next room.
AUSA: Did you do that?
Ventura: I did.
AUSA: Where?
Ventura: Usually on his nipples.
AUSA: Did you want to do that?

‘Diddy’ controlled the whole situation – she told the jury.
“’It was his fantasy’, she said. ‘He was controlling the whole situation. He was directing it. Sometimes Sean and the escort would have intercourse with me … It was just like a lot happening at once’, she said.”
