At least one fatality has been reported after a car exploded outside a California fertility clinic just before 11 a.m. local time on Saturday.
The massive explosion blew out windows on buildings as far as half a mile away from the American Reproductive Centers on N Indian Canyon Drive in Palm Springs. The clinic provides in vitro fertilization, advanced reproductive treatments, artificial insemination, egg freezing, surrogacy services, “LGBTQ family building,” and more.
Palm Springs Mayor Ron De Harte has confirmed that a car bomb caused the explosion.

“Everything is in question, whether this is an act of terrorism,” Lt. William Hutchinson told reporters at the scene.
What appeared to be human remains were seen in the middle of the street outside the clinic in photos shared on social media. The Gateway Pundit has opted not to share the images due to their extremely graphic nature.

Videos showed debris scattered across the street, shattered windows at multiple businesses, and significant structural damage to the clinic.
Emergency crews, including firefighters and police, were dispatched to the scene immediately after the explosion.
According to a report from The Desert Sun, the blast was powerful enough to rattle homes, and some residents reported smoke and a strong odor in the aftermath.
The identity of the deceased has not been released, and it remains unclear whether additional injuries or deaths were reported.
Residents have been urged to avoid the area around North Indian Canyon Drive and follow updates from official sources.
