The battle against the entrenched Deep State has entered a new chapter — this time inside the hallowed halls of the Library of Congress.
Conservative watchdog group The American Accountability Foundation (AAF) is calling on President Donald Trump to remove Librarian of Congress Carla Hayden and U.S. Copyright Office Director Shira Perlmutter, accusing the duo of operating as ideological operatives for the radical Left.
“The President and his team have done an admirable and long-needed job cleaning out deep state liberals from the federal government,” AAF told Daily Mail.
“It is time they show Carla Hayden and Shira Perlmutter the door and return an America First agenda to the nation’s intellectual property regulation,” he added.
AAF wrote, “America’s “Librarian,” Carla Hayden: Obama appointee, Biden-Harris crony, Top Clinton donor. And she’s been using the Library of Congress to push “sexual identity” on children. HAYDEN’S GOT TO GO!”

The American Accountability Foundation is launching a campaign to highlight activities of Librarian of Congress Carla Hayden and Director of U.S. Copyright Office Shira Perlmutter, accusing them of acting as biased left-wing activists.
A former chief librarian of the Chicago Public Library, Hayden worked for Encoch Pratt Free Library in Baltimore when she was nominated to the Library of Congress by President Barack Obama in 2016.

Hayden is a registered Democrat and donated extensively to Obama’s campaigns and has an extensive history of donating to Democrats.

Hayden appointed Shira Perlmutter as the Director of U.S. Copyright Office in 2020 which has also raised concerns from activists as she made extensive political donations to former Vice President Kamala Harris, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, former President Barack Obama and New York Democratic senators Kirsten Gillibrand and Chuck Schumer.
