JUST IN: Wisconsin Judge Enforces Subpoena Against ActBlue in Lawsuit Over Fraudulent Use of Information for ActBlue Finance Money Laundering AKA “Smurfing”

A Wisconsin judge has approved a subpoena for documents requested in an October lawsuit alleging nearly 400 incidents of identity theft to make fraudulent donations to Democratic campaigns through ActBlue “smurfs.”  This could open the door for a range of ongoing investigations into the ActBlue fundraising platform.

Update: After President Yoon Suk Yeol initially declared martial law in South Korea, the legislature unanimously ruled against it in an attempt to rescind this measure.  From CNN: Under the country’s constitution, the president has the power to declare extraordinary martial law, which allows special measures influencing freedoms of speech, press, assembly and association.
