Tyranny Down Under: Aussie Cops Demand Public Rat Out Neighbors Who Are “Anti-Government Or Believe COVID-19 Conspiracy Theories”

In the words of former Barack Obama Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel: never let a serious crisis go to waste. Queensland police officers have taken this advice as they seek to use a horrific crime to inflict authoritarianism on the general public.

On December 12, six people were shot, including 2 police officers, at a remote property in Queensland state. Nathaniel Train, his brother Gareth Train, and Gareth’s wife Stacey were identified as the alleged killers by senior police sources. They allegedly staged the ambush, killing the police officers as they entered the property.

In response to the crime, the Queensland police decided to capitalize on this opportunity and encourage a little snitching to enhance their powers. Deputy Commissioner Tracy Linford specifically had anti-government and COVID-19 vaccination skeptics in mind.

From Deputy Commissioner Linford:

“If there’s anybody out there that knows of someone that might be showing concerning behavior around conspiracy theories, anti-government, anti-police, conspiracy theories around COVID-19 vaccination as what we’re seeing with the Train family, we’d want to know about it.”

“We want to know about that. And you can either contact the police directly or go through Crime Stoppers.”

Such a move is one people would expect in a dictatorship like China not an alleged democracy like Australia. But The Gateway Pundit has assiduously reported on how Australia turned its former democracy into a third-world dictatorship during COVID.

Here are just a few examples:

Shooting protesters in the back for demonstrating against COVID restrictions.

Using facial recognition software to enforce COVID Quarantines.

Using COVID restrictions as an excuse to kill rescue dogs before they were picked up by animal shelters.

Forcibly holding down and vaccinating aboriginal people against their will.

Storming residences to confiscate alcohol to enforce lockdown orders.

In retrospect, Aussie authorities using their powers to enhance tyranny and stamp out dissent should now be expected. And the majority of Australians have been happy to trade away liberty for a sense of security.

Australia never truly left its penal colony roots. Ordinary citizens are now paying the price.
