A biological male who was convicted of making child torture pornography with his seven year old daughter and transgender roommates is being moved to a women’s prison because they identify as a “woman.”
Matthew “Marina” Volz, 30, was sentenced to 25 years in prison on May 6 for human trafficking, aggravated sexual assault, conspiracy and endangering the welfare of a child. The little girl was reportedly tortured by her father and his transgender pedophile porn ring.
Volz’ three roommates helped to sexually abuse the small child, according to a press release from the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office in May. Sean Allen, 51, Ashley D. Romero (formerly known as Adam Romero), 26, and Dulcinea Gnecco, 19, have all been charged in relation to the production of the child pornography.
At least two of the roommates also appear to be transgender.
Law enforcement spent five months investigating Volz and his roommates after the New Jersey Division of Child Protection and Permanency notified the Prosecutor’s Office Sex Crimes/Child Abuse Unit that pornography was being made at the home where the seven year old resided.
“On January 28, 2019, a search warrant was executed at the residence and it was discovered that the child was in fact residing in the home where a pornography production company was being operated, exposing the child to sexually-explicit matter,” the prosecutor’s office said in a statement. “Electronic items, including cell phones and computers were seized for forensic examination. The child was subsequently removed from the home by the Division of Child Protection and Permanency in January 2019.”
“Prosecutor Robertson stated that during the examination and analysis of the electronic devices, several sexually-explicit photos and videos of the 7-year old victim were located,” the statement continued.
According to a report from Reduxx, “the four had run what was described as a ‘family-owned’ transgender pornography production company specializing in BDSM, fetish, and taboo content.”
“Volz had begun utilizing his daughter for sexual exploitation purposes after taking her from her mother in December of 2018,” the report continues. “Volz and Ashley Romero, another trans-identified male who lived at the residence, travelled to Oregon from New Jersey for the purposes of bringing the child back and forcing her into the child sexual exploitation material industry.”
The report explains that “while avoiding providing full details of the extent of the little girl’s ordeal, Judge Peter Tober noted she had been subjected to torture-like conditions, mentioning neck collars, a cage in the basement, and sex toys.”
“If this was not heinous, cruel and depraved, I don’t know what is,” Judge Tober said, stating that the girl had been taken from her actual mother “solely for the sexual gratification” of others.
Throughout the media’s coverage of this horrific case, they repeatedly respected Volz’ pronouns and, Reduxx points out, in at least one case they referred to him as the child’s mother. One local report was bizarrely headlined, “NJ woman who forced daughter she fathered into child porn sentenced to 25 years in prison.”
Romero was immediately sent to Edna Mahan Correctional Facility for Women, but Volz — who still has a penis — was sent to a male prison. He has now been transferred to the same facility as Romero.
