Fired CNN anchor Chris Cuomo is slated to make a return to national television next week.
Pundit and legal commentator Dan Abrams, host of a primetime show on the startup cable channel NewsNation, will air a taped interview with the former CNN anchor.
Cuomo was fired by CNN in December following an investigation that confirmed he was using his journalism sources to help defend his scandal-plagued brother, former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, fend off sexual harassment accusers.
Cuomo will be pressed on “what he’s doing now, what he’s doing next and answering the tough questions about his past,” Abrams said in a promo teasing the exclusive interview.

Cuomo has largely avoided media attention after his termination from CNN.
But the bombastic hasn’t lost his penchant for telling tall tales.
Earlier this month, he claimed to be reporting live from Ukraine.
On July 11, he posted a photo of himself on Instagram wearing an army helmet and sunglasses, appearing to be reporting live from the warzone. He announced that he was rebranding himself as a “free agent,” implored his followers to “be a #freeagent” like him and posted reports allegedly from Ukraine on his social media account.
A day later, Cuomo was spotted in the Hamptons.
