Kamala Harris on Tuesday evening called for gun control after a teenager fatally shot at least 18 students and 3 adult at a Texas elementary school.
18 students and 1 adult were killed in a mass shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, Tuesday.
Texas Governor Abbott said the alleged shooter, 18-year-old Salvador Romas, a Uvalde resident, was killed by responding officers.
“Enough is enough. As a nation, we have to have the courage to take action!” Harris said. “And understand the nexus between what makes for reasonable and sensible public policy to entrust something like this never happens again.”
