Last night Tucker Carlson on the FOX News channel discussed Dr. Peter Hotez who Tucker claimed is a ‘charlatan’ who wants dissenters jailed. As usual, The Gateway Pundit was way ahead on our reporting of Dr. Hotez.

You might have noticed that a lot of people don’t trust doctors, that’s not a good sign. Probably half the people you know are exploring alternative medical cures right now. Why’s that happening? Well there are a lot of reasons but Dr. Peter Hotez is definitely one of those reasons.
Hotez is a pediatrician who spent his life studying tropical parasites. He wouldn’t seem to be the obvious go-to guest for cable news bookers looking for someone to speak knowledgably about COVID but Hotez is a crazed publicity addict. He will do any public appearance, anywhere at any time. He never stops.
Unfortunately for all of us, when Peter Hotez speaks he discredits American medicine. He’s a misinformation machine, constantly spewing insanity. Cooly compare Hotez views on COVID and compare to Alex Jones views and ask yourself who’s saner. It’s not even close. Very few things Peter Hotez says has any relationship to reality.

We first reported on Dr. Hotez in late December. In our report from Dr. Lawrence Sellin, we noted that Dr. Hotez was the recipient of a grant from Dr. Fauci for $1 million a year. But Dr. Hotez wasn’t alone.
One of the two other Principal Investigators on the project is Shibo Jiang, who lists two affiliations related to grant R01AI098775:
- Laboratory of Viral Immunology, Lindsley F. Kimball Research Institute, New York Blood Center, New York, NY, USA
- Key Laboratory of Medical Molecular Virology of Ministries of Education and Health, Shanghai Medical College and Institute of Medical Microbiology, Fudan University, Shanghai, China

With Shibo Jiang as the conduit, Fauci’s R01AI098775 grant funneled U.S. taxpayer money to support the research of multiple Chinese scientists with connections to the People’s Liberation Army.
Two of the publications arising from grant number R01AI098775 are worth noting, both dealing with coronaviruses and, strangely, in neither of which the Project Leader Peter Hotez participated.
That is, both studies were entirely designed and conducted by Chinese scientists.
