The Failed Socialist Regime in Venezuela Uses Different Tactics to Evade Sanctions | The Gateway Pundit

The Office of Foreign Assets Control of the United States Department of the Treasury imposed sanctions against CONVIASA, a Venezuelan airline with its headquarters near Caracas .

According to Steven Mnuchin, the regime uses the state airline to move corrupt officials around the world to boost support for its criminal organization. The Trump Administration will not allow the regime to continue robbing people and abusing state assets.

Also, the Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, explained that Maduro and his corrupt cronies use Venezuela’s state owned airline to support their illegal regime.

The regime rejected the sanctions in a statement late last week.

In a recent dialogue with Russian Foreign Minister, Sergei Lavrov, according to EFEnews, the Russians plan to expand military cooperation with the dictator Maduro, against possible armed threats.

Since Lavrov’s arrival, protesters expressed that Russia exploits Venezuelan natural resources, and, in exchange for this, Russia supports the failed socialist regime.

The Maduro regime evades sanctions with the support of its allies.

For a long time, the narco-dictatorship uses methods to evade the sanctions imposed by EEUU and the EU. The proof was Delsy Rodríguez in Spain, evading EU sanctions supported by the Spanish government.

The old Venezuelan regime uses corruption and illegal tactics to stay in power. The tactics include ghost companies and flights loaded with blood gold.

Bloomberg agency reported Venezuelan tankers changing names. The Ocean Elegance ship, an oil tanker that has been delivering Venezuelan crude to Cuba is now called Oceano. Also the presidential airplanes were painted with the CONVIASA logo.

While Maduro and his power groups steal the wealth of Venezuelans the humanitarian emergency continues; UNHCR estimates 6.5 millions refugees will flee Venezuela this year.
