TRUMP: ‘Dumb’ Beto O’Rourke And ‘Crazy’ Nancy Pelosi ‘Hate Our Country’
In a fiery campaign rally in Texas, President Trump on Thursday said his “hateful and enraged” adversaries vying for the Democratic presidential nomination “are destroying this country.”
“I really don’t believe anymore that they love our country,” the president said in Dallas to a packed arena. “They hate our country.”
In the home state of Rep. Robert “Beto” O’Rourke, who has plunged in the polls, Trump attacked the former congressman, ” calling him “dumb” for pledging “to revoke the tax-exempt status of many churches and religious charities” and “take your guns away.”
O’Rourke says that any church that refuses to perform same-sex marriages should lose federal tax exemptions and wants to seize AR-15s and other military-style rifles from owners.
“In a few short weeks, [he] got rid of guns and got rid of religion,” Trump joked, saying that in Texas “that doesn’t work.”
Trump also said Hose Speaker Nancy Pelosi loves subpoenas and “hands them out like it’s cookies.”
“I have people getting subpoenas I’ve never heard of! I said, ‘Who are those people?’ “
Trump also blasted former Vice President Joe Biden, and his son, Hunter, as corrupt, saying they “you-know-what and pillage.”
“It’s the ‘R’ word. ‘You-know-what’ and pillage. You know what word I’m talking about, right?” he said, referring to the word “rape.”
Trump packed more than 20,000 supporters into the American Airlines Center and tens of thousands more reportedly could not get into the venue.
