Congressional Democrat leaders of committees working to impeach President Trump were presented with information regarding crimes related to Obama’s Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and his Vice President Joe Biden. Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff, Foreign Affairs Chairman Eliot Engel and Elijah Cummings, the chairman of Oversight & Reform, have decided to ignore defy their oath and ignore the criminal acts!
Democrat lawmakers requested documents from the Pompeo State Department on Ukraine. So yesterday the State Department complied. But they weren’t what the Democrats were expecting!
The Trump administration sent over documents on Hillary Clinton’s collusion with Ukraine in the 2016 election and the Biden Family’s massive pay-for-play with the Ukrainian regime!
Rudy Giuliani discussed this on the Hannity Show last night on FOX – Via Hannity:
“The documents provided by the inspector general included a package of disinformation, debunked conspiracy theories, and baseless allegations” three Democratic House committee chairmen said in a statement released Wednesday night.
Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff, Foreign Affairs Chairman Eliot Engel and Elijah Cummings, the chairman of Oversight & Reform, were among the lawmakers briefed by Linick [the State Department IG who delivered the documents].
The documents also contain notes that purport to be from interviews that took place at the office of Trump’s personal lawyer, Rudy Giuliani. Giuliani told CNN on Wednesday evening that some of the documents provided to Congress by the State Department’s inspector general had originated with him.
Each of these crooked politicians gave an oath at the beginning of the Congressional session to uphold the US Constitution. According to the Heritage Foundation [emphasis added]:
Under current law any individual elected or appointed to an office of honor or profit in the civil service or uniformed services, except the President, shall take the following oath: “I, [name], do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter.” (33 U.S.C. § 3331.) By federal statute, all state officers shall take an oath in the simple form first promulgated in 1789. (4 U.S.C. § 101.)
The Democrats are politicizing a discussion involving the President of the United States that was classified and leaked while ignoring real crimes laid on their lap because these crimes involve a fellow Democrat!
The Federalist reported that the person who leaked the President’s classified phone call may not have protection under the whistleblower law:
Under federal law, whistleblowers within the intelligence community are required to report any allegations of wrongdoing to the Intelligence Community Inspector General (ICIG) in order to receive statutory whistleblower protections for their disclosures. The law does not provide any protections to employees or contractors who bypass the process required by law and go directly to Congress, nor does it provide any avenue to disclose classified information to Congress without first going through the ICIG. If the complainant or a colleague leaked classified information to Schiff or his committee, those individuals could be subject to criminal liability for illegal and unauthorized disclosure of classified information.
Per Trending Politics the Federalist also states:
The communication between the whistleblower and House Democrats prior to the complaint’s filing also raises questions about whether Schiff and his committee staff coordinated with the ICIG regarding the watchdog’s whistleblower forms and guidance stating that first-hand information is required in order for the agency to properly investigate “urgent concern” complaints.
The new revelations that Schiff and his staff coordinated with the anti-Trump complainant and his colleagues prior to a formal whistleblower complaint also suggest Schiff was less than truthful about his interactions with the whistleblower. On August 28, nearly two weeks before the ICIG formally informed Congress of a pending “urgent concern” whistleblower complaint from an intel operative, Schiff tweeted allegations from the complaint without disclosing their source.
These Democrat crooks have no intention of upholding the constitution.
