NEW: Pelosi Hints at Impeachment Over Deep State Trump-Ukraine Whistleblower Complaint
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) hinted at impeachment in a letter to lawmakers on Sunday over the latest Deep State Ukraine-Trump ‘whistleblower’ complaint.
Excerpt of the letter via Axios:
“If the Administration persists in blocking this whistleblower from disclosing to Congress a serious possible breach of constitutional duties by the President, they will be entering a grave new chapter of lawlessness which will take us into a whole new stage of investigation.”
Acting DNI Joseph Maguire is refusing to hand over a ‘whistleblower’ complaint from an unidentified person in the intel community over to the House Intelligence Community that could potentially be ‘covering up the president’s misconduct’ over a phone call he had with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
House Intel Chairman Adam Schiff subpoenaed Maguire and accused him of illegally withholding the whistleblower complaint.
The Democrats are trying to use Joe and Hunter Biden’s Ukrainian scandal as an excuse to impeach Trump.
Hunter Biden was making $50,000 a month sitting on the board of Burisma Holdings, a Ukrainian natural gas company, despite the fact that he has virtually no knowledge or experience in the field.
Joe Biden strong-armed the Ukrainian government and threatened to withhold over $1 billion in loan guarantees if they didn’t fire Viktor Shokin, the prosecutor investigating his son Hunter — and Biden bragged about it during a 2018 speech to the Council on Foreign Relations.
This so-called whistleblower is a highly partisan spy in our intel community seeking the protection of whistleblower status in order to snitch on President Trump.
The general counsel for Acting DNI Joseph Maguire argued in a letter that the whistleblower complaint did not meet the ICWPA [Intelligence Community Whistleblower Protection Act] definition because the complaint involved an individual outside of the intel community (President Trump).
For this reason, the DNI refused to hand over the complaint to Congress, however, Democrat lawmakers are still demanding the IC deliver the complaint as well as transcripts of Trump’s privileged phone calls with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Pelosi’s partner-in-crime House Intel Chairman Adam Schiff on Sunday also beat the impeachment drum.
“If the president is essentially withholding military aid at the same time that he is trying to browbeat a foreign leader to do something illicit, to provide dirt on his opponent during a presidential campaign, then that may be the only remedy that is co-equal to the evil that conduct represents,” Schiff said to CNN’s Jake Tapper.
