Newly uncovered photographs of Rep. Ilhan Omar’s family provide even more evidence that she married her brother as part of an immigration scam.
Earlier this month, a tweet resurfaced in which Rep. Omar linked to a now-deleted Instagram post where she referred to her father by the name Nur Said.
In 2009, Rep. Omar married a man named Ahmed Nur Said Elmi.
In most Muslim countries a person’s surname is actually the father’s name. This means that Ahmed Nur Said Elmi is the son of Nur Said — and Rep. Omar’s brother.
After the Gateway Pundit and other outlets reported on this development, Rep. Omar deleted the tweet.
Now, more resurfaced tweets are painting an even clearer picture of the sham marriage Rep. Omar was involved in and the lengths she is going to hide it.
In a series of tweets from January, Rep. Omar’s sister Sahra Noor discussed her lawmaker relative — and her “other sister” with a winking emoji.
Four days prior to those tweets, Noor had tweeted a photo of a family reunion which included several men — and Leila Nur Said Elmi.
In December 2016, a man named Suleiman Axoow wrote on Facebook: “On Wednesday night I had an opportunity to have dinner with State Representative-Elect Ilhan Omar & her lovely sis Leila Elmi.”
Noor is the only sibling that Rep. Omar has publicly acknowledged.
Journalist David Steinberg obtained a copy of Leila Elmi’s marriage certificate which lists Nur Said as her father.
As the Gateway Pundit previously reported, in 2017, Rep. Omar swore under penalty of perjury while divorcing her husband (brother?) that she hadn’t seen Ahmed N. Elmi since 2011 and didn’t know anyone who could help her contact him. She claimed, under oath, that she did not know how to contact a single one of his relatives.
An extensive report by David Steinberg in July revealed that in 1995, Ilhan entered the United States as a fraudulent member of the “Omar” family.
“That is not her family. The Omar family is a second, unrelated family which was being granted asylum by the United States. The Omars allowed Ilhan, her genetic sister Sahra, and her genetic father Nur Said to use false names to apply for asylum as members of the Omar family,” the report explained. “Ilhan’s genetic family split up at this time. The above three received asylum in the United States, while Ilhan’s three other siblings — using their real names — managed to get asylum in the United Kingdom.”
Steinberg reported that Ilhan Abdullahi Omar’s name, before applying for asylum, was Ilhan Nur Said Elmi.
“Her father’s name before applying for asylum was Nur Said Elmi Mohamed. Her sister Sahra Noor’s name before applying for asylum was Sahra Nur Said Elmi. Her three siblings who were granted asylum by the United Kingdom are Leila Nur Said Elmi, Mohamed Nur Said Elmi, and Ahmed Nur Said Elmi,” the report continued.
As the Gateway Pundit previously reported, Omar’s father, Nur Omar Mohamed (aka Nur Said Elmi Mohamed), is connected to the former genocidal dictator in Somalia, Said Barre. Nur and other former Barre accomplices are living in the US illegally.
The Daily Caller reports, “in 2017, she filed for divorce from Elmi and said she hadn’t seen him since 2012. She swore under oath that she did not know the name of a single member of his family and did not know anyone who knew him. But another Power Line screenshot of a deleted post from Omar’s Instagram account shows her with Elmi in London during this period.”
