Sen. Cory Booker Declares Trump is a ‘Demagogue, Fear-Mongering Person’ Who is ‘Worse Than a Racist’

Unhinged Senator Cory Booker declared that President Donald Trump is “worse than a racist” and compared him to Democrat segregationist George Wallace while appearing on CNN’s State of the Union on Sunday.

When asked by guest host Dana Bash why he has stopped short of calling Trump a racist in the past, Booker responded by saying that he’s not — and launched into a tirade about the “evils” of the president.

“This is a guy who is worse than a racist,” the  2020 candidate said. “We have a demagogue, fear-mongering person who is using race to divide. This is a referendum, not on him, it’s actually a referendum on the heart and soul of our country.”

“He is actually using racist tropes and racial language for political gains, trying to use this as a weapon to divide our nation against itself,” Booker said. “We have seen it with the Know Nothing Party, which was trying to stop Irish and German immigrants.  We have seen it with McCarthyism. We have a demagogue, fear-mongering person who’s using race to divide.”

Booker made the same allegation while appearing on Face the Nation, saying that he is “using race like a weapon to divide our country against itself.”

His remarks drew plenty of backlash from Trump supporters on Twitter.

“Oh my God! You could literally choke on the hypocrisy here. Racists do not help the people they supposedly hate. Black unemployment lowest in history. Latino unemployment lowest in history. Female unemployment lowest in history. Trump isn’t a racist & isn’t a misogynist,” one Twitter user responded.

Many others noted that the only party that continues to obsess about race is the Democratic Party.
