A new ad from the Republican National Committee showcases the similarities between the words and beliefs of the man who staged an attack on an ICE facility last week and the Democratic lawmakers who have been advocating for the same.
The video also features Reps. Ilhan Omar, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Ayanna Pressley refusing to condemn the violent attack on the Tacoma facility.
The ad begins with the freshmen group of lawmakers who have been referring to themselves as “The Squad” discussing their hostility towards ICE and condemning detention facilities. It then moves on to show news clips from the Antifa attack in Tacoma and footage of protesters removing the American flag at an ICE facility in Aurora, Colorado, and raising the Mexican flag.
The video cuts to the women being asked to condemn the attack — which none of them were willing to do.
It ends with the words “Squad Goals: Anarchy.”
