As the media outrage machine keeps the anger alive about President Donald Trump tweeting that the “Squad” of four freshmen lawmakers should “go back,” a 2015 tweet from Rep. Rashida Tlaib has resurfaced in which she calls for him to be deported.
It’s almost as if being offended about the phrase is a sham.
For days the media have been clutching their pearls about Trump’s tweet about Reps. Tlaib, Ilhan Omar, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, , and Ayanna Pressley, in which he said they should “go back” where they came from, fix things and “show us how it’s done.” The tweet sparked accusations of “racism” from nearly every major mainstream media outlet and Democratic politician.
However, it was totally fine when Tlaib tweeted something worse.

“Deport this a–hole!” Tlaib tweeted in December 2015, linking to a story about then-candidate Trump discussing cracking down on Muslim immigration.

On Monday, Tlaib responded to Trump’s comments at the NAACP National Convention in Detroit.
“Let’s be clear today, President Trump is a bully and we stand up to bullies,” she said. “This is a critical moment in our history, the leadership of NAACP is needed as we see the poison of racism. Donald Trump has given permission to people who used to stand in sheets in the middle of night to stand in the light in front of the microphones. This is wrong.”

Rep. Tlaib has been obsessed with impeaching the president, even saying that “we’re gonna go in there and we’re going to impeach the motherf—er” shortly after she was sworn in. Prior to becoming a lawmaker, Tlaib was physically removed from protesting at an event that Trump was speaking at.
Crooked called us “Deplorables.” Tlaib calls us “Crazy.” In reality we just love our country, want every American—no matter their race, religion or socioeconomic status—to have a safe & prosperous life & expect our leaders to put America First. It’s simple pic.twitter.com/qUzyfE5z5o
