After the May Day march and protest in Portland, the antifa contingent made their way to the Cider Riot bar for a post-protest concert.
Joey Gibson, leader of Patriot Prayer group who often stages pro-Trump events in the area, decided to gather up some of his friends to see if they could get a drink at the bar.
That’s then the violence started.
Dozens of mask clad Antifa poured out of the bar to confront Gibson and his band. The ensuing chaos featured several shots of pepper spray, objects thrown at Gibson, one of the antifa actually winning a fight against a Trump supporter, and one female Antifa member getting knocked out after charging at several in the Gibson bunch as they were exiting the area.
One female (?) swatted at Gibson’s phone, after one of the Gibson’s friends de-masked her:
Another antifa gets clocked when it appears he could be using his guitar as a weapon:
An Antifa member got in a few licks in a one-on-one fight:
The Antifa crowd stalked Gibson and his crowd as they exited the area:
This crazed girl (?) goes charging at Gibson and his associates:
Her (?) reward is a nap on the asphalt bed:
And it’s all on video!
Police responded to a large fight in Northeast Portland Wednesday night between two groups.
That fight appeared to leave a woman unconscious.
Police did not identify the two groups, but video obtained by KATU News showed Patriot Prayer leader Joey Gibson in attendance.
Video showed the groups shouting at each other. The confrontation devolved into punches and a woman was knocked to the ground. She appeared to be knocked unconscious and was carried away.
Police said they are reviewing video and photographs of the fight and are working to determine whether any arrests will be made.
The Portland “police” were nowhere to be seen, so their Public Information Officer had to work double time to come up with a politically convenient cover:
On Wednesday, May 1, 2019, at 7:29 p.m., Central and North Precinct Officers responded to a disturbance in the area of Northeast 8th Avenue and Northeast Couch Street. It was reported that an estimated 60 people were involved in a fight and someone may have deployed mace.
Police response city-wide was put on priority calls only so officers could respond to this incident from throughout the City. Information came in that a subject was unconscious in the area, but officers did not locate that person in the area they were reported to be and no further updates were provided.
As officers arrived, the two groups had separated. Officers contacted both groups and no one self-identified as a victim or wanted to make a police report. Officers are aware there may be video of the event, and are interested in that video footage.
This is an open investigation and follow-up is planned to identify if crimes were committed and if arrests are appropriate. The Portland Police Bureau will review video and images of today’s event in an attempt to identify people who were involved in criminal activity.

It’s interesting that Portland “police” claim that no one wanted to make a report or identify themselves as a “victim”, because local reporter Andy Ngo says police refused to take his report after he was violently assaulted and accosted throughout the day’s events:
I was sprayed in the face point blank with pepper spray outside the @CiderRiot, where Antifa had amassed. They cheered as I was blinded. Before that, they threatened me & brought up my mother’s name. A woman helped me across the street. Please help me identify person: pic.twitter.com/BUxlk94fz4

Are you kidding me? Do you not arrest violent people so then you can claim that it was peaceful? There was a riot outside the Cider Riot. I was attacked point blank with pepper spray. A student journalist from Oregon State had his camera smashed & destroyed. Where are you? https://t.co/f2CXVw4nc4

I suppose that if there’s no arrests, and the DA’s don’t charge anyone, and police don’t make reports, then no “crime” has taken place, and pretend “mayor” Ted Wheeler then gets to tout how peaceful the day was and how the city is crime free. Because statistics and low crime rankings are more important than reality.
