As news of the Notre Dame fire continues to capture the world’s attention, it appears as though those with arabic names are laughing about the tragedy in social media.

Twitter user Damien Rieu snapped this video screengrab on a thread about the blaze, and you can see throngs of middle easterners responding with the laughing emoji:

Rieu’s comment translates to “And guess who is looking forward to the fire of.”
