Kim Kardashian West Defends Her Relationship With President Trump (VIDEO)

Kim Kardashian defended her relationship with during a CNN interview.

Kardashian West appeared on CNN’s ‘The Van Jones Show’ to discuss how meeting with President Trump inspired her to become a lawyer.  Van Jones asked Kardashian West how she feels about working with the Trump Administration.

In June 2018, President Trump commuted the prison sentence of Alice Marie Johnson.  Johnson was serving a life sentence for a non-violent cocaine trafficking conviction.  President Trump’s decision to commute Johnson’s sentence came a week after Kardashian West pleaded Johnson’s case to Trump during a meeting about prison reform.

After Johnson was freed from prison, Kardashian West developed the desire to become an attorney in order to help further reform the criminal justice system.

Kardashian’s husband, Kanye West, has a highly publicized friendship with President Trump.
