WATCH: McConnell Goes Off on Democrats Over 11th Hour Allegations Against Kavanaugh

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) blasted Democrats over their handling of the allegations against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh from when he was in high school.

McConnell had been silent on the allegations until Monday. He asserted on the senate floor that the accusation was brought forward in an “irregular manner” having been made public in the 11th hour, despite having the Democrats knowing about this for the past six weeks.

“After Democrats have spent weeks and weeks searching for any possible reason that the nomination should be delayed, now, now, they choose to introduce this allegation,” McConnell said.

McConnell also slammed the Dems for leaking it to the press instead of going through the proper channels for a “bipartisan process.”

“They did not raise it in the closed session, the proper forum where such an allegation could have been addressed with discretion and sensitivity,” McConnell said.

Christine Blasey Ford is a far-left activist who alleged Brett Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her over 35 years ago while she was at a high school party in Maryland.“I categorically and unequivocally deny this allegation,” Kavanaugh said in a statement released through the White House. “I did not do this back in high school or at any time.”

On Monday, Judge Kavanaugh told Senator Hatch that he was not even at the party in question.
