Freedom Caucus Chairman Mark Meadows dropped a bombshell Monday evening.
Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC) revealed Monday evening Congressional investigators have learned new information suggesting the FBI and DOJ previously leaked information to the press then used those same press stories as a separate source to justify seeking FISA warrants on Trump advisor Carter Page.
Twice-demoted DOJ official Bruce Ohr will be interviewed Tuesday in a closed-door session by Congress. Meadows then asked of Bruce Ohr, “Did he ever do this?”

Twice-demoted DOJ official Bruce Ohr is set to appear before members of the House Oversight and House Judiciary Committees Tuesday to answer why he had over 60 contacts with dossier author, Christopher Steele.
Bruce Ohr was acting as a backchannel after the FBI ‘terminated’ Christopher Steele in November of 2016. The FBI was being funneled intel from Steele through Bruce Ohr.
“He owes the American public the full truth,” Meadows previously said.
Emails, text messages and handwritten notes penned by Bruce Ohr were recently released showing the top DOJ official had extensive contact with dossier author Christopher Steele and Fusion GPS founder Glenn Simpson.
Christopher Steele was ‘terminated’ by the FBI from his gig as a ‘Confidential Human Source’ in November of 2016 because he broke FBI protocol and spoke to the media.
The information Christopher Steele gave to David Corn of Mother Jones and Michael Isikoff of Yahoo! News ended up being published shortly before the 2016 election. In turn, the FBI then cited these same liberal media articles as EVIDENCE to support the FISA warrants on Carter Page.
Now it is being revealed the FBI and DOJ were also leaking to the media and using those same press stories AS A SEPARATE SOURCE to justify FISA warrants.
