Director, Actors and Crew Members Quit  ‘Roe v. Wade’ Film After Finding Out it Isn’t Pro-Abortion

The production team behind the upcoming movie ‘Roe v. Wade’ are facing an uphill battle as crew members, actors, locations and even the director have backed out when they realized it isn’t going to be pro-abortion.

Despite the challenges, production partners Cathy Allyn and  Nick Loeb are determined to continue and finish their historic feature film.

The feature film began filming on June 15, and has already had to replace three local actors and various crew members.

Loeb told the Hollywood Reporter that last week a woman wearing a headset approached and asked: “Are you the director?”

“When I told her I was, she told me to go f-ck myself,” Loeb recalls. “Then she threw her headset on the ground and walked off. I found out later she was our electrician.”

The production team has been working under a secret fake name to avoid locations backing out, but still, at Louisiana State University Loeb says, “we were told we were rejected due to our content, even though it will be a PG-rated film. They refused to put it in writing, but they told us on the phone it was due to content.”

A synagogue in New Orleans that they were using for catering and as a place for crew and extras to hang out also backed out over the content.

“Once they found out what the film was about, they locked us out. We had to call the police so that the extras and caterers could retrieve their possessions,” Loeb told THR.

The director also quit on the first day of shooting, leaving Loeb and Allyn are co-directing.

The location manager for their scenes in Washington, D.C., quit after doing some research online and claiming that she is a “staunch pro-abortion feminist activist.”

“I have been doing research on the movie trying to figure out who is producing and what the gist of the story is, and I finally found it, and so I am withdrawing from this project. I am a staunch pro-abortion feminist activist, and I will not be party to such horrible propaganda,” the former location manager wrote in an email to production.

The film will feature Hollywood celebrities such as Jon Voight, Robert Davi, Corbin Bernsen, John Schneider, Stacey Dash — who are all outspoken conservatives.
