VICTORY! Fox News Stands By Laura Ingraham; Slams David Hogg Led Boycott as ‘Agenda-Driven Intimidation’

Fox News issued a statement Monday afternoon standing by embattled primetime host conservative Laura Ingraham who lost over a dozen advertisers stemming from a boycott campaign by liberal Parkland school shooting student activist David Hogg.

The statement was reported by the Los Angeles Times.

“We cannot and will not allow voices to be censored by agenda-driven intimidation efforts,” Jack Abernethy, co-president of Fox News, said in a statement to the Los Angeles Times. “We look forward to having Laura Ingraham back hosting her program next Monday when she returns from spring vacation with her children.”

Last week liberal gun control activist David Hogg targeted conservative talk radio and Fox News host Laura Ingraham with an advertiser boycott because she tweeted an article about his travails getting accepted to colleges and commented he is ‘whining’ about being rejected.

The 17-year-old Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School senior and media star survivor of the February 14 massacre at the school has made no secret of his troubles getting accepted to the schools of his choice, even tweeting about it in the weeks after the attack as he became a celebrated student activist.

Laura Ingraham issued an apology, however; one by one her advertisers announced they would be pulling their ads from her Fox News program.

Among the barrage of tweets calling for a boycott of Ingraham’s advertisers, Hogg posted a list of the companies.

Hogg then tweeted a list of Ingraham’s advertisers via the Leftist group Media Matters with a caption “tweet away”–SURPRISE SURPRISE!
