FIGURES. Comey’s Former Special Assistant Lands Gig at CNN After Resigning From FBI and Trashing Trump

Josh Campbell quit the FBI last week.

Then he wrote an op-ed for The New York Times where he complained about people exposing the corruption and criminal acts by agency leaders.

“I am reluctantly turning in my badge and leaving an organization I love,” Campbell wrote in the NY Times op-ed.

It turns out this precious snowflake was crooked Cop Comey’s special assistant.

Comey even gave his little snowflake assistant a shoutout on Twitter.

On Friday, Comey tweeted, “Special Agent Josh Campbell will be missed at the FBI, but his voice is an important addition to the national conversation.”

Now this…

Josh Campbell has just landed a gig with CNN as a law enforcement analyst. Figures.

TV Newser reports:

CNN has signed another critic of the Trump administration.

The network has named Josh Campbell CNN law enforcement analyst.

In his new role at CNN, Campbell will provide insight and analysis on crime, justice, breaking news and national security issues. During his tenure at the bureau, Campbell conducted numerous high-profile terrorism and kidnapping investigations and managed the FBI’s inter agency communication response strategy following crisis incidents.

According to the report, Campbell will begin his new gig immediately.

Fox News pointed out Campbell appeared on CNN on Friday to explain why he was leaving the FBI — but failed to mention he would soon be an employee of the network.

The Daily Caller reported that an official goodbye party flyer for Josh Campbell invited attendees to “celebrate Josh’s new endeavor defending the Bureau as a CNN law enforcement analyst:
