“You Should Be a Campaign Manager!”: Michael Savage Interviews TGP’s Josh Caplan As Radio Legend Weighs Senate Bid (AUDIO)
Radio legend Michael Savage revealed to his audience Friday that ‘very important people,’ have approached him to run against Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA).

SAVAGE: “Some very important people have come to me and said ‘Savage, would you like to run as an independent for the U.S. Senate in the of California against the esteemed Dianne Feinstein?’ Now you may say ‘you don’t have a ghost of a chance.’ With all those illegal aliens, with all that union money, with no press on your side, how could you David run against the Goliath of Feinstein?” […] I’ve been holding down the fort for 24 years this March. 24 years in the radio business and I am younger than Dianne Feinstein. That’s right. I’ve been asked by a number of very powerful, important people to run as an independent for the U.S. Senate in the state of California and I am contemplating whether I really want to leave what I’ve worked for all my life and roll in the mud because politics is the dirty business on the planet.”
In a mailer received by California Democrats on Tuesday, Senator Feinstein asked delegates to endorse her at this weekend’s state convention.
“Today, more than ever, California and our nation’s progress are threatened on many fronts by Donald Trump and the Republicans in Congress…California Democrats can and must lead Democrats across the nation to victory. Please know that I stand with each and every one of you and that I deeply appreciate all you do for our party and for the values we share,” wrote the 84-year-old lawmaker.
Yet, in a crushing rebuke, California Democrats declined to endorse Sen. Feinstein’s re-election bid over the weekend. Neither candidate, Feinstein or De Leon garnered 60% of the vote required to receive their party’s endorsement.
California Democratic Party Endorsement Totals:
Kevin De Leon: 54%
Dianne Feinstein: 37%
It's time for new leadership we can count on to stand up for working families.

Yesterday, Savage welcomed Josh Caplan as a guest on The Savage Nation to discuss his prospects of running against Sen. Feinstein.

Caplan, a longtime listener, immediately laid out why Savage’s clairvoyant support of President Trump and message of ‘Borders, Language and Culture,’ would energize California’s grassroots.
‘Woah,’ replied Savage, ‘you should be a campaign manager! I bet you know the issues better than most, don’t you?’
The conservative firebrand then lamented Sen. Feinstein’s lack of knowledge on climate change, as he effortlessly rattled off statics debunking inaccurate global warming platitudes pushed by the Democrat Party.
‘Envision yourself on stage, debating Sen. Feinstein on climate change, your background and experience spanning decades in botany, ecology, and conservation, is no match for her,’ Caplan told Savage.
Switching gears, Savage said if he decides to throw his hat into the ring, running a positive campaign would be important to him.
‘There are only three things that are certain in life, you have to pay taxes, we’re all doing to die, and the Democrats will run a dirty, smear campaign against you if you run for the Senate in California,’ Caplan half-joked.
The interview then turned to how Sen. Feinstein’s lack of agenda would force her to rely on playing the gender card to shore up support.
For the last eight year, ‘the Obama/Clinton machine’ replied on political correctness and Trump’s rejection of progressivism is what of why he won, Caplan told Savage.
‘That’s exactly right,’ agreed Savage.
Wrapping up the interview, Savage said ‘Josh, I want to thank-you for the link on Gateway Pundit, a great site, and I look forward to your future articles.’
‘You’re welcome on the show anytime you have a breaking story.’
