Bolivia To The UN: Capitalism Must Be Destroyed To Fight Climate Change
With the fall of the Berlin wall many believed it also signified the fall of the red menace known as totalitarian collectivism. But instead of being trodden under the feet of freedom and the free market, like a hydra, when you cut off one head it only grows more, Communism just morphed into Progressivism, and especially, the “green” Climate Change movement.
Case in point.
Before the nations of the world are to meet in Paris later this year in order to hammer out a global agreement on how to combat Climate Change, each country is expected to submit a report outlining their plan of action to the United Nations (U.N.). On Monday, Boliva submitted their plan to the U.N., and Business Green reports it centers solely around the destruction of Capitalism:
“Bolivia has called for an end to capitalism in order to tackle climate change, warning the economic system is leading humanity towards “a horizon of destruction that sentences nature and life itself to death”.
The socialist country yesterday submitted its national climate action plan to the United Nations, which all nations have been asked to prepare ahead of global talks in Paris that begin next month.
…The plan, known in UN jargon as an Intended Nationally Determined Contribution (INDC), blamed the “failed” capitalist system as the trigger for climate change.
“The capitalist system promotes consumerism, warmongering and commercialism, causing the destruction of Mother Earth and humanity,” it stated. “The capitalist system is a system of death. Hence, capitalism is leading humanity towards a horizon of destruction that sentences nature and life itself to death. In this regard, for a lasting solution to the climate crisis we must destroy capitalism.”
The fact that the fiction which is man-made Climate Change was, in part, invented to destroy Capitalism isn’t exactly new news. In February of this year the United Nations top Climate Official, Christiana Figueres, admitted that they were “intentionally transforming the economic model” of the world.
So as you can see, the reports about the death of Communism, and totalitarian collectivism, have been greatly exaggerated. Sadly, they have just been painted with thick coat…of green.
