Seattle’s annual May Day protests/marches/riots have caused small businesses to close up shop for the day and purchase terrorism riders for their insurance. This shut down costs the businesses hundreds, if not thousands each, and results in lost wages for employees.
Additionally, the bus services are being re routed and riders are told to expect delays.
