Secretary of State John Kerry tried to persuade reporters that the current negotiations with Iran are not linked to any other Middle East issue.
“There is no linkage whatsoever in the nuclear discussions with any other issue. And, I want to make that absolutely clear.”
This comes after The Wall Street Journal reported that Barack Obama sent a letter to Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei on working together to defeat ISIS. It was his fourth letter to the fundamentalist regime. So far, Khamenei has yet to respond to Barack Obama.
Former Israeli Ambassador Dan Gillerman blasted the Obama administration on Saturday saying the letter to Khamenei was shameful and “a letter of appeasement.”
