According to Fox News and the Washington Times, the VA sent an email to its staff warning them to “stand down” on communications to outsiders, presumably attempting to silence them from talking about the scandal involving treatment of patients.
After the email was exposed, the VA brass reversed course and appeared to allow employees to communicate with veterans, the public and the media.
