Great show today! Senator Claire McCaskill was on with us at the top of the 7o’clock hour. If you missed it CLICK HERE for the podcast! Joe Holleman (our sherpa) from the St. Louis Post Dispatch followed up with an article referring to a specific piece of information that Senator McCaskill disclosed during the interview. The St. Louis Post Dispatch has more on McCaskill’s plans:

In the interview, McCaskill tells Allman the race “was so intersting and I think that people need to understand that some of the extreme elements in this country — at both ends of the political spectrum — are not politically viable …”

McCaskill also said her camp most feared having to run against St. Louis County businessman John Brunner in the primary. She noted he would have been tough to campaign against because he had no past legislative record and “an unlimited checkbook.”

Claire McCaskill also admitted during the interview that she helped Todd Akin win the primary.

Here’s the video from today’s Allman in the Morning Show:
Claire says, “I’m going to tell the whole story.”

Thanks to Carl for sending me the audio.
