Iranian Activist Ahmad Batebi Suffers Stroke in Evin Prison

Very sad news coming from Iran today…
It was known back in December that Ahmad Batebi, the imprisoned student leader in the infamous Ward 209 of Evin Prison, was being detained in the most unspeakable condition; his family, after visiting him in prison, described the status of his health to be extremely worrisome.

Today Iranian bloggers are reporting that Ahmad Batebi has suffered a stroke in Evin Prison…

Student Activist Ahmad Batebi has been in prison now for 2774 days.

Ahmad Batebi had a brain stroke in the infamous Evin Prison and went into coma for 3 hours. To toruture him they had threatned to transfer him to the criminal and drug addicts section of the prison…He was taken to the clinic in prison but given his grave condition he needs the specialists help outside of the prison.
