Muslim Professor Cheers Death of Former First Lady Barbara Bush “Happy the Witch is Dead” *Updated*

Fresno State Associate Professor, Randa Jarrar cheered the death of former First Lady Barbara Bush on Tuesday from her verified, ‘blue checkmark’ Twitter account.

Earlier Tuesday, a spokesman for the family confirmed former First Lady Barbara Bush passed away at the age of 92.

People from all sides of the political spectrum set politics aside for a moment and offered condolences.

The hateful professor at Fresno State, however, cheered Mrs. Bush’s death then doubled down and wished for the ‘rest of the Bush family to fall to their demise.’

It is these types of vile leftists who are teaching the youth today.

The Gateway Pundit has provided screenshots of Randa Jarrar’s tweets in case of deletion.

Jarrar began with, “PSA: either you are against these pieces of shit and their genocidal ways or you’re part of the problem. that’s actually how simple this is. I’m happy the witch is dead. can’t wait for the rest of the family to fall to their demise the way 1.5 million iraqis have. byyyeeeeeee.”

The hate-filled Muslim professor seemed angry about the condolences offered after the country lost a First Lady, calling Barbara Bush a “racist.”

“Barbara Bush was a generous and smart and amazing racist who, along with her husband, raised a war criminal. Fuck outta here with your nice words.”

In response to a Twitter user who pointed out she may lose writing gigs for her unhinged rant, she bragged about being a tenured professor making $100,000 a year and will “never be fired.”

According to Fresno State University’s official website, Randa Jarrar grew up in Kuwait and Egypt and moved to the US after the Gulf War.

Her bio reads:

Professor Randa Jarrar is an award-winning novelist, short story writer, essayist, and translator. Randa grew up in Kuwait and Egypt, and she moved to the U.S. after the Gulf War.

Her first book, A Map of Home, was published in seven languages & won a Hopwood Award and an Arab-American Book Award. Her newest book, Him, Me, Muhammad Ali, won the Story Prize Spotlight Award. Her essays have appeared in The New York Times Magazine, The Utne Reader, Salon, Guernica, The Rumpus, The Sun, and others.

She has received fellowships from the Lannan Foundation, the Civitella Ranieri Foundation, Hedgebrook, and Eastern Frontier, and in 2010 she was named one of the most gifted writers of Arab origin under the age of 40. She is the executive director of RAWI, the Radius of Arab American Writers.

Now of course being that Randa Jarrar lives here in the US and is presumably an American citizen, she has 1st Amendment rights to speak her mind and say what she wishes.

However, does Fresno State think it’s appropriate for one of their professors to conduct herself in this manner?

Is this the type of person who should be teaching our youth?

Randa Jarrar also received a bluecheck verification badge from Twitter while conservatives are routinely shadowbanned and suspended without explanation.

UPDATE: Fresno State released a statement full of liberal double speak on Randa Jarrar:

UPDATE: Randa Jarrar’s Twitter bio reads “Currently on leave from Fresno State”

We are unclear what that means exactly; Fresno State still has not responded to The Gateway Pundit’s multiple requests for comment.
