After a year in office half of President Trump’s nominees are still waiting for confirmation in the US Senate.
Mitch McConnell can vote anytime on the nominees. But Mitch won’t do it because he is required to use 30 hours of floor debate to force a vote.
Richard has been waiting for months for his confirmation by the US Senate.
President Trump has repeatedly called for the Senate to confirm Richard Grenell as ambassador to Germany.
Earlier this week, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell announced a cloture vote on Richard Grenell as ambassador.
Supporters were excited.
