BREAKING: Deputy NatSec Advisor Dina Powell OUT at White House

The White House announced Friday, Deputy National Security Advisor Dina Powell will be stepping down from her position in early 2018.

White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said in a statement as reported by The Hill, “Dina Powell has been a key, trusted advisor in this administration. She has always planned to serve one year before returning home to New York, where she will continue to support the president’s agenda and work on Middle East policy.”
Powell “will serve in the administration until early next year,” Sanders said

Dina Powell entered her position in the NSC last March and was favored by NatSec Advisor H.R. McMaster.

Independent journalist Mike Cernovich has long suspected Dina Powell was a source of some damaging leaks from the White House as she clashed with the Nationalist wing in the White House.

The White House previously denied these charges to the Gateway Pundit.

Thursday, Cernovich celebrated Powell’s departure after tweeting on December 1st, “Dina Powell was source of story about Rex Tillerson leaving SecState. Powell wants USUN, hoping to move Haley out and get her as SecState.”
