According to reports, outgoing Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke will be joining the Trump administration. Clarke submitted his resignation on Thursday, effective Thursday.
On Friday White House spokesperson Sarah Huckabee Sanders told reporters former Sheriff Clarke is not being considered for any position in the Trump administration at this time.

This makes sense.
The Trump administration appears to frown on employing supporters.
