On Friday evening, President Trump issued a pardon to former Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio.
Surprising absolutely no one, Arizona Senator Jeff Flake zinged the President’s decision on Twitter.
“Regarding the Arpaio pardon, I would have preferred that the President honor the judicial process and let it take its course,” tweeted Flake.

Senator John McCain later joined Flake in criticizing President Trump and Joe Arpaio:
For McCain this was a twofer. He could bash Joe Arpaio AND President Trump in the same tweet.
He wasn’t going to miss an opportunity like that.
