White House Releases Letter From POTUS to Congress on Syria: ‘The U.S. Will Take Additional Action as Necessary’

The White House released a text of a letter from President Trump to the Speaker of the House and the President Pro Tempore of the Senate today.

In the letter, President Trump discussed his decision to take military action in Syria and said, ‘The U.S. will take additional action as necessary and appropriate, to further its important national interests’.
